In the darkness
the voices whispered softly;
they were easily ignored.

But now the light is on.
Blinding.
And the voices cry out louder,
making an overwhelming din;
they shout over one another
so that it is almost impossible to comprehend
that I love you.
Night

The time has come
my little cretins,
to go and find a bed
and get in
So be still, be quiet
embrace the night
and for god's sake
don't let those
bed bugs bite

Morning**

The night has passed
and now it's morning
I'm having breakfast
and still I'm yawning
Pondering the day ahead
and how long 'till I can go
back to bed

Through dreams I learnt to live
And in waking how to die
The golden hand of the morning sun
Would pull, tear and rive
Culling my verve, plucking life away
Time spent nether the burning sun
Never seems worth staying awake

I have seen the land of roses
Whilst skimming the blue tract
I know how Albion looks
Two hundred metres up

Towers that sink into the soil
Transposing themselves as trees
All wonderful things i have seen
Through nightly visions and dreams
Every step you take gets you somwhere,
Every breath could be your last,
So why, why in the world
Are we so afraid,
To step outside and breathe in deep?
I'm guilty of it, I've lived
Afraid and with regret.
It may come again, but
remember, bad things happen to even
The best people.
Those good people don't always
Get what they deserve.
But I hope it never stops them, from doing
What makes them happy.
We all would hope to be the exception,
When we are only rules.
Rules made to be bent, twisted,
Broken into a million pieces.
Be proud, be determined.
Please, I'm begging you...

Be fearless.
