If 7-11 is open 24 -7,  365 days a year...Why do they have locks on their doors?

In my cage, I sit alone and think. I blindly built these bars where I dwell.
I wish I had a second sight so I could foresee my future.
A surprise was waiting in the shadows, waking those sleeping things inside.
And now I slowly tear down my cage, I wish I could move faster.
The world outside is moving quickly and I am stuck in here.
My surprise is out there free. I fear I am missing out.
In this cage I am so alone, with a bounty of heart-felt feelings.
No one can help me, sadly. I break down these bars all by myself.
