Lingering in the darkness
once they were light
now dark as midnight
they bring only fright
their hearts once made of gold
broken from tragedies untold
where respect was once written
bitter words are stricken
so in the shadows they hide
from the pain they hide
quiet words are uttered
as if one whisper
would shatter
their soul
the one who speaks such fragile words
grants them hope once more
a new light unfolds
in a land of shadows light appears
the saddened
the grief stricken
the ones with tragedies untold
are illuminated
the shadows of darkness have lost their hold
their hope makes them once again bold
trust is fragile
so are soles
trust is earned by ones
with
kind words
bright hearts
a small amount of hope
can inspire others
to shoot for the stars

Like a stream of tears
       they fall
drops of glass
             break upon impact
the sky turns gray
                   they fall
        they dance
                         they break
           their fall has ended
behind they leave
     crystals upon
   the grass
         the trees
                     the sun rises
       they last no more
they rise to the clouds
    they gather once more
until
down
        they
               pour
                       once
                               more
                  the
    process
begins
         with
               no
                end
        for
all
      of
       time
             their fragile cycle repeats  
for
           they
                 have
                        no
                              end
                                     to
                                        meet

Land and sky clash
wars of tyranny
and rage
peace a stranger
Savagery a friend
the world lies
to waiting ears
ears seeking truth
hear lies of a world
so torn that truth
is painful
while lies are bittersweet
till the end of time
the war
scars time
the war
is left
nothing more
nothing less
the war
Ignited our reality
scavenged our minds
and broke the
fragile glass
of eternity.

wind breaks
barrier
sound takes
light
spontaneous
sounds fill
Children’s
eyes with
wonder  
a vision ceases
the world returns
to black
and white
we are alone in a
void deprived of sound
once more
and we realize
reality is dull
dull but utterly painful
the void encases
us
once more
we return to
the darkness
but we see
a fragment
a small ray
of light penetrating
the darkness
once more hope
arises
as the sun collides
with darkness
we see light
the darkness fades
we return to a reality
a reality painfully
right even thought
we wish to
disperse once more

It flys with wings of stars
It travels to galaxies near and far,
It tells its stories to all
the stories are as old as time itself,

the beings have betrayed the dragon
for they have stolen the dragons voice,

The dragon has let its brethren seek revenge on the ones who now hunt the dragon,

the dragons are now gone but you can still hear the dragons stories drifting in the wind.

the sun has abandoned the forsaken ones
the forsaken do not heed the distant cries of wind telling them of the loathing that shadows the sun
the forsaken blind to their tyranny
blissful ignorance fills their
troubled thoughts
behold the sun is stricken with
hatred for ignorant fools that
choose once more to stifle the wind that spoke wisdom to the forsaken
once more the sun takes its beauty light and wisdom elsewhere for it can suffer this tyranny of fools no more

Ever changing
forever shifting
the glass breaks
the water falls
tides and currents
fight land
water keeps no prisoners
water spares no land
It breaks all in its path
the land trembles in terror
the ocean attacks
once more
the water calms
the tide returns to sea
the battle
has stopped
for now
the storm
has subsided
but take heed
once more
for the land
foreshadows
the sea will
return once again
to seek out
hateful revenge
only than
the storm will meet its
fateful
end
