to stop the tides of change
it'll take more than your no's
to overcome the I am's of Life

It takes more than your Darkness
to drown out the Soul's Radiance
It'll take more than time
to puzzle out the secrets of eternity

It will take more than your schemes
to stop the soul that will awaken
it will take more than your evil
to corrupt the heart that is within him

It will take more than your twisted will
to avert the Rebirth that is upon you
It will take more than the darkness that follows
To extinguish the Light you will become

I am here
behind the held-fast door
waiting to be rediscovered

I am you, as you wil be
when your soul resonates
with dreams newly grasped

I am everything that you
reach for, proud of every step
you've taken on the way

I am here smiling
as you release yourself
from the chains that
once bound you

Surrounded
all sides closing in
the sky falls from
above, the shadows
grasp from below

struck down
or, at least that's
what they thought,
your coming back.

with the force of the soul
a part of you now
never give up, not even death
can stand in your way

the ground may split
the sky may fall
but you rise from the ashes
even as the fire consumes you

they'll fall and
you'll close the earth
they'll be fallen as
you fix the sundered sky

they'll fall forever
while you rise up
eternally

when the hammer of the gods strikes upon the earth
and the echoes in mortal souls ring true
then shall old dreams be re-awoken
sparks long extinguished granted new life
as hopes once lost now shine in the heavens
waiting to be grasped once more

No longer connected to the ground
the ultimate ascension is triggered
eyes open as time slows, the feeling
of eternity coalescing.

No longer obstructed from my condition
everything is revealed,
turning all sight upon itself
subsumed in the realization of being

the bridge manifests, and the two shores appear
now at the brink of what joins man and the divine
the convergence of every challenge and disillusion
spurs me beyond the very state of grace

I step upon the bridge,
exhaling one last breath
before air turns into light
as before me the world vanishes

eyes open as the currents bend before me
I look upon the world with perspective
never before imagined. I reach out to touch them
and so, in the hand of God, eternity Coalesces.

walking down the windless stair
into the murky depths of night
I do not know what lurks in there
but in my heart I know the Light

It guides me through this empty place
filled with the darkness of my fears
along a path that leaves no trace
and the minutes pass like years

without a doubt these shadows break
upon my bright and burning soul
and step by step I choose to take
and through the Light becoming whole

A Twilight stroll through ancient gates
walled by will controlled by fates
a path to worlds strange and new
seen only by a chosen few

Aether pathways now lie open
gates once guarded now lie broken
pieces scattered on the ground
soon the lost shall all be found

corrupted portals that once were guarded
ancient guardians now are martyred
Growing darkness now arise!
Poison all beneath the skies!

dark defenses now awaken
and the light shall be forsaken
all the world rife for taking,
By the darkness now awaking!

from the depths shall rise
a damaged soul now in disguise
shielded first by webs of lies
and quite soon he shall arise

from the darkness in the deep
a ragged voice now stirs in sleep
muttering false promises to keep
should he wake, then you shall weep

but grab ahold of the faded star
always know just who you are
remember in the darkest places
fear obscures all true faces

the light within shall hold all true
and their paths they will renew
night will always lose to day
so long as one never forgets the way

Life's mysteries long forgotten
and with the answers I'm begotten
ice cold truth's long unuttered
words unknown I have muttered

darkness now have I forsaken
into the light I must awaken
shadows break before my sight
ancient boundaries now alight

ancient gateways now are open
old world borders now lie broken
aether pathways lie between
worlds seen and those unseen

now the keys have all awakened
peace and waiting soon forsaken
all the boundaries ready to break
ancient dangers now awake

If i were to tell you i knew of a place
where dreams can come alive
would you journey to such a space
and would your mind survive?

out here there is no difference
from what you show and what you hide
out here there is no running
from the things inside your mind

but way out here the light walks too
see its kind and radiant gaze
and if you look within you
i think you'll be amazed

we walk around with a million faces
some of dark and some of light
but we hide ourselves in inner spaces
out of mind and out of sight

but way out here you begin to see
that's not how it has to be
you will see what its all about
when all the lights go out

now take a look deep within
and view your inner spaces
there is so much more to see
in our darkest places

I rise above the clouds
into a world once so bright
where now the shadows fall
and a thousand voices call

From atop my place above the clouds
while the voices cry aloud
I concentrate on the final spark
as all the world fades to dark

night has fallen but not all is lost
the small light begins to glow
as the green earth turns to frost
its radiance begins to show

I cast my voice throughout the sky
so all may hear me down below
as the echoes start to die
the spark begins to grow

I ask them to not give up the fight
for soon the dark shall turn to light
I ask for them to banish fear
as the dawn shall soon be here

down below i feel a shift
a great and evil change
they would not stand a chance
against its dark and burning rage

there was no time, i had to choose
between my life or the light
with no time to lose
and no small amount of fright

I step below the clouds
into a world as dark as night
where all the shadows fall
and a thousand voices call

I stand before the evil beast
the spark within my hand
i tell it to leave this place
and in fact, this i demand

It looks at me with eyes of hate
and a hunger yet to sate
I look right back and then i smile
as i surrender to my fate

I hold the spark in front of me
so that all can clearly see
what can become of night
when into it you unleash the light

fueled by a willing life

the beast it did not stand a chance
against the radiant wave's advance
all the shadows burned away
from the light, as bright as day

and with the passing of the day
my light and life then fade away
but the world remained renewed
and rebuilding then ensued

I rise above the clouds
into a world now set to right
where now the daylight falls
with a thousand joyous calls

Soft words spoken
to the silent darkness
where emerges creation
in the form of imagination
flowing from the mind
like a soft breeze
upon the water
daring you to believe

all that is seen
all that is heard
all that has been
all that is learned

all that is living
all that is dead
all of the muse
you hear in your head

all that is known
all that is lost
all that exists
in spite of the frost

all that is passed
all that will be
all that is missing
in time you will see

all that is dark
all that is light
all that is wrong
all that is right

all that is time
all that is space
all that which moves
with celestial grace

all that is broken
all that is one
all that is breaking
and coming undone

all that is written
all that is thought
all that is said
all that is not

all that is love
all that is hate
all that is choice
all that is fate
