Lap Dog
blueizcrying Jan 2014
You're just her little lap dog
Its so pitiful and sad
Jumping around yipping and yapping
Like some shitzu thats gone mad
She pets you now and then
Throws an occasional bone
Keeps you hanging on that leash
While perched upon her throne
She doesnt really want you
Just needs your foolish loyalty
In that tiny brain you know its true
Offered you my open arms
And a honest loving heart
But you fell for her ice cold charm
One day she will put you out
For some strutting mastiff stud
Dont bother sniffing all about
For the trail of my long gone love

Clash
blueizcrying Jan 2014
Clash against the norm
Silence the pretenders
Protest the unbridled hypocrisy
Tear it down
Spit in the face of denial
Trample your offenders
Give no mercy
For they have no compassion
In the face of adversity
Be a force of reckoning
Or die with a knife in your back
In a world of liars be not the fool!!

Puppet Master
blueizcrying Jan 2014
Twisted around your finger tightly
Master, schooled in the art of manipulation
Do they had out degrees for that?
Many victims fell before me
How many will follow?
You play the wounded soul so well
Drawing the adulation of hapless idiots
Professing empathy and compassion
With a heart void of any sincerity
Emotional vampire, leaching attention
Savoring the taste of ultimate control
Puppeteer, yanking fragile life strings
Of a frantically dancing marrionette
Its face contorted in a rictus of pain
Till you tire of the pathetic show
And drop it like a bag of old bones
Thus satisfied,
Walk away looking for the next dummy

Think About It
blueizcrying Jan 2014
Before you say those words
And hurt the one you love
(Think about it)
Before you push that button
To send off some hateful rant
(Think about it)
Before you turn your back
On ones that are true
(Think about it)
Before you take the low road
Letting anger dictate action
(Think about it)
Before you slam that door
On any chance you have
(Think about it)
Before you embrace pride
Over admitting that you're wrong
(Think about it)
Before you lose a heart
That was given freely to you
(Think about it)
Before you are left with nothing
But the deepest of regret
(THINK ABOUT IT)
Treat others as you would have them treat you
