Receiving critique on your poetry
We have heard from many poets on Hello Poetry that they are eager to get more critical feedback on their work and that Reactions are not providing that. So, we have created a section in the community called Critique, which is dedicated to precisely that.

If you would like to have your work thoughtfully critiqued, simply edit any of your poems and set their status to "Critique". Those poems will then appear in the Critique section, where other members of the community are encouraged to offer serious, thoughtful and constructive feedback.

Poems marked as "Critique" will not be shown on your public profile as they are being critiqued. The Critique section is only visible to members of the community, giving you time to share and develop your work with the community without exposing it to search engines and the public at large.

Once you've received enough critical feedback, and you've finished any edits on your work, you can simply change the status of the poem back to "Public" or "Selected" and it will be publicly visible on your profile again.

We hope that these improvements will help you develop your work amongst the community. With your feedback, we here at Hello Poetry are continuing to improve as well, so please do continue to share your thoughtful remarks with us.
