What If?
What if one day we woke up to nothing?
If one day the walls were constructed up around our feet
Leaving us with only our imagination to take them down

If the tide abruptly lapped back into the heart of the ocean
Rewinding the modest clattering against the shore

If the trees decided they wanted to escape the sight of anguish and affliction
Somewhere they could be concealed among the effervescent atmosphere

If the sun was emphatic towards becoming the moon
And the moon the sun

If inhabitants flew into their own secluded worlds
Remote from you and me back on our rough terrain
What if one day we lost ourselves in everything we took for granted?

Sorry;
For what, I asked
Sorry;
I said it’s in the past
Sorry;
Im not staying, Jack
Sorry;
A single word, a dangerous trap
Sorry, he whispered
And that's when I turned back

— The End —
