Hatred
Bill Strowbridge Feb 2013
When the world stops what do we say?
How should we act with all of it,
For who is it really to blame for that day?
And who shall we see fit?

Fit as in able and ready,
Yes able and ready to rage war,
But not against people you see,
Against hate because that is the true core,

The core of war, the core of anger,
The call of war, which is what makes us weaker,
We hate and we despise,
But what created these lies?

How can we Fight it?
Who do we deem Fit?
If hate is what weakens,
Than how are we better than demons?

When you hate something you start to begin,
You begin giving others pain and misery, and you let hate in,
Don't hate someone for something they have done,
Don't hate someone for then hate has won.

Now being a human being, I am a hypocrite,
For I have hated others, and done so this night,
But as I begin to let hate go, I feel fit,
Fit to win a war like no other, fit to see a light.

The light is love and acceptance, and I can feel its warmth in my bones,
If you join me, together we can win this war that hate rages alone,

**For lonely is hate, and all those who follow,
For they are dead inside, corrupt, and hollow.
