My Suicide Note
Bibhu Dec 2014
Oh my my…
Look… there’s the vanilla sky…
In the half remembered dreams
Of chances and deliberations
I have gotten chunks of that but Why?
Oh my my…
Look… there’s the last firefly…
In my moments in oblivion
I have ridden upon it once
And that’s not a lie.
Oh my my…
Look… there’s our most beloved moon
In the times of total blackouts
I've seen it, been there
As if I were born with a silver spoon
Oh my my…
Can you see… It’s me!
Hovering around my nostalgia
Tired of counting sheep
Of countless resentments I wish I could break free
Oh my my…
Look… it’s you…
Telling me not to back down
Stand firm and fight hard and you’ll live
But cares Who?
Oh my my…
I am flying…
I am dying…
When you pontificate
What I did was a coward’s act
But suicide takes tremendous courage
And that’s a fact.

Lights
Bibhu Nov 2013
Light... Pretty Light... Shredding Light...
Turn 'em off... Extinguish... Carry on with your fright...
Light... Slutty Light... Flooding Light...
Banish them... Blow 'em up... Make them vanish from my sight...
Light... Steady Light... Twinkling Light...
You hurt me... Torture me...Take out the black from the White...
Light... Arresting Light... Puzzling Light...
Let me rest... Go to sleep... Let me perform my last rite...
Light... Deceitful Light... Treacherous Light...
Don't stop me... Let me go... Let me fly my own kite...
Light... Blinding Light... Yarning Light...
Leave me alone... Don't come back... If you're done with your bite.
Light... Lovely Light... Stunning Light...
Be honest... Are you pure?... Aren't you from a sinister satellite?
Light... ****** Light... Violent Light...
Embrace me... And my friends... Only if I am not right.
Light... Dear Light... Beloved Light...
Take me along... Let me summon... The darkness that you have to fight.
I know him... He's been my friend... For many a sleepless night.
Avast! Don't sit down... Hold your sword ...  Don't hold your breath too tight.
Light... Brave Light... Obstinate Light...
God's blessed you... With the fastest horse... But yours is not the only Knight!

Words...
Bibhu Oct 2013
Why do we write?
Why do I write these words that I cannot stop from coming out of me?
An airplane to make, a pancake to bake
A war I've to fight, a life to live and make it all right
There's so much to do.
But why do I choose to write?

Maybe you'll read it maybe you won't.
Maybe you care maybe you don't.
Maybe I'll live maybe I'll die
Maybe I'll make a **** and earn that apple pie.
It seems I don't care for all that **** but Why don't I?

Why does one paint
A classic work of quaint?
Why does one dance
While sober or in trance?
And not make a car
That'll take you too far?
Or beg, burrow or steal
than rediscovering the wheel?

Ah... I've asked too many questions by now
For which I don't see the answers somehow.
And I keep asking this question to myself
Why do we write
When this world is not right
And I keep losing my fight?
But I still want to write
Though I need to keep quiet.

Day after day, she goes on walking back and forth.
Sometimes happy, sometimes with fears.
From a not too distant corner of her life, she's two stories' worth
One's of her lovely smiling lips.
The other's of her swelling eyes' Tears.
Lovely Fears Pierce us all.
Through darkness, through phantoms through moments of fall.
While going through the poems written by others I made some comments and I thought of putting them together to make a short poem. Let's see how it goes.

One Night Stand
Bibhu Oct 2013
As the darkness starts its crusade to ally with a storm’s invincible march, assuming an ill-fated retaliation, to a tower I ask, ”how long?”. He chuckles and reverts with the latent puissance. The mightiest roar at the advent of dawn gets me and passes by saying ‘REMEMBER ATLAS?’

Fear
Bibhu Oct 2013
Lips move in frenzy and I start to drift.
All fall out of sync and the loudness is swift.
A train passes by as mine derails.
I pull the brake but the friction fails.
I see many faces alive but they bleed.
They still shout with an unfathomable creed.
Back in the mass again where I was,
I feel uneasy to know that there’s no pause.
A cloudless sky runs with haste.
I see people eating with no sense of taste.
Surrounded with the filth I begin to wonder,
If in this storm there ever was a thunder.
I lock my jaws and unlock my mind,
with numerous toungues spelling curses behind.
I infer, I dceree and I pass my chance,
leaving my inmates with a courteous glance.
Now I am happy and I kiss my luck,
blaming the noise with which I was stuck.
I see a doctor to ask for a cure.
He sounds pretty sound and he knows it for sure.
In his words he tries to be quite precise,
”They talk a little crazy disproportionate to their size,
of things they know and out of their sight.
They run with a torch that bears no light.
They laugh, they mock and hinder your way.
They bet their back as much as they may.
They mumble, they chatter, they faulter and sigh.
They look back a lot to disguise a lie.
To hide their faces they wear those masks.
They’ll answer to all even if no one asks.
Their demeanor to you looks absurd because
according to them, ‘the effect precedes the cause’.
They always get paid to wear and tear.
It’s in silence they die. It’s loneliness they fear.”

Erratically Implicit
Bibhu Oct 2013
I closed my eyes
And tried to wake up
In a world that’s too far away
That struck from above.
Taunting me with honed voices,
Not a single was distinct.
How cruel were those noises!
With every possible hint
In an alienating stint
followed by the clue
It came as on cue
And I heard that song
Of stories not heard for long.
Then I stumbled upon the truth,
‘We all go places that we may never belong.’

Rain
Bibhu Oct 2013
It’s raining again; Oh, it’s raining again!
On the vast godforsaken land,
Where at the blink of an eye,
We see pain, blood and disaster.
It’s not blood today
But it’s raining again.
It’d happened long ago.
The echo had succumbed to the walls.
Or Only I had thought so!
His shadow had a victory and the man had to pay.
Cowards had the rein while the braves had no say.
Hurray! It’s raining again.
Filling my glass with drops of joy,
now I sing, play gigs and feel my voice.
I’m getting back to life with the rush of blood
Led by the grand rejoice.
Yes, it’s raining again.

The Maestro of Lullaby
Bibhu Oct 2013
Once upon a time there was a voice
That sang many songs of pain and rejoice,
Gave strength of beauty to the beholder’s eyes,
Magically turned the drinks to elixir of choice.
Soon it became the lullaby of the youth and old.
It came with a lull and left in a storm.
Getting to the lips of ours, putting the spirits on hold.
Reminded of the beauty one could never buy in gold.
Taught to be sad at the epitome of fame.
Laid many stories and said ‘what’s in a name?’.
The touch of which gave life to the relic,
Made all cry from prolific to the lame.
There was no sob, no eyes were wet,
The audience was frozen by the master as pet.
With every heart and soul being grounded to the core,
Talked more of the feeling than mere happiness had set.
Once upon a time there was a man
Who could possess that voice and no one else can.
He left us one day while tears broke out
With his voice still singing for an eternal span.

Nirvana
Bibhu Oct 2013
Numerous thoughts incline toward me
Each carries a unique motion
Each tries to build upon another demolition
Leaving me with confusion
Led by a multitude of ecstasy
My head branches like the ****
As Brownian as smoke of hash inside and out
No rescue arrives till I’m out, ****** with doubt
And I willingly lose it all
Forgotten, pampered, hit and hurt with the fall
My demise, my nirvana, my mokhsha
Are they all just myth
Or parts of a great equation not with a logical accord?
The dream does not stop here
As I decide to climb higher and higher.

A Million Bumping Heads
Bibhu Oct 2013
A million bumping heads
Rendered in coherence
An enigma just beside me
As rises the height
With a soothing delight
Playing with resilience inside me
Goes she, leaving with a smile
Leaving me with a smile
Bending over a mile
I look forward to an exile
Into the lively adobe
To a turbulent surprise
Let me promise to be back soon
In your paradise in disguise

Naked
Bibhu Oct 2013
Why do you burn yourself up in the day
When you know the dusk’s not too far away?
Why is that desperation in you to speak too much
When there’s nothing to be said as such?
Why are you so afraid of the rain when you loved that rainbow?
Why does your skin look lavish only for the show?
It is true that you catch a thousand eyes when you bare it all
And you pretend to be hazed.
Don’t you know that their gazes are to be amused and not to be amazed?

Goodbye Love
Bibhu Oct 2013
My Love, do you remember the first time when we met?
There was so much of love and no fear of regret.
Do you remember the sun and the clouds that surrounded?
The river that chattered and the strangers befriended.
Do you remember the glow of that night and the twinkles up that hill?
And the way we used to talk like the old Jack and Jill.
I kept feeling you night after night.
Had tea with you till time flew out of sight.
I drank your beauty all around the place.
I still can see how lovely looked your face.
Do you ever miss me or remember my name?
I know Love is really a dangerous game.
I know you never cared about parting our way.
And you won’t look back come what may.
It’s okay if you don’t remember me anymore.
Even if my love is eternal and pure.
May Love be with you Love, wherever you be.
My eyes will wait for you as long as I can see.

The North Face

The North Face

Mountain! O! Mountain!
What is your secret?
Come on, you can share it with me.
There’s not much of a difference you see.

In the summer sun you cry.
In the winter you go dry.
In the rain you dance.
Though I’d seen that only once.

The stream that you love never sticks to you.
The cloud that you befriend only passes you by.
I see the sanctuary that you host.
None of them cares for you the most.

Well, I’ve seen you smoke quite often.
Is it mostly the grass or the cream?
May we ever smoke up together?
I’d like to talk about the river and the weather.

I’ll hover around you just like that black cloud.
I’ll chatter, sing, dance and laugh out loud.
I’ll flow down you but walk back up to the point
Where in the evening we can light up a joint.

So when do we meet up your majesty?
You know, I’m getting late and your reply needs to be quick.
Did you just ask me to hold back and not leave?
Don’t stop me darling with so much of innocence or I too will start to weep.
