This one’s for the girls who have ever been abused,
The one’s who have felt like nothing and have felt used.
The one’s who’s pain sometimes is never seen by others,
The pain so deep and so far under covers.
If you’ve ever been hurt and told that you’re nothing,
Well, I can certainly tell you one thing…
Hurtful words are thrown by little men,
Repeated at you again and again.
Words hurt as much as any blow you could bear,
Any kick, punch, or pull of your hair.
Abuse comes in so many different forms,
It’s these girls who are caught in the storm.
If you’ve ever been forced to do any ****** act,
And in fear of your life, you didn’t fight back..
You didn’t yell but you know you said “no”,
Waiting to breath and burning to go,
You froze and just laid there and cried,
Only with men who want to hurt you by your side.
This is for the girls who have ever been ***** and hurt,
All for this guy who just wants to squirt.
If you’ve ever taken a fire, knife, or fingernail to your skin,
Because of everything you’ve ever held within.
You cut so deep and see the blood run down your side,
Just to make sure you really are alive.
A pain so deep only physical hurt can help you through,
A pain so deep and you know there’s nothing you can do.
If you’ve ever been alone with yourself to bear it all,
And the only feeling you feel is the air in your face as you fall.
I want all of you girls to know that life is more than what we’ve endured,
And even though what has happened and the pain can’t be cured..
You’ll make it to see another day and the people you love,
And if you feel like there’s no one, just look above..
When all is dark and you have no light,
Just remember, don’t ever give up the fight.
