Are the 10 I know that fights and stays

No matter how wide we smile together
Or how hard we laugh out loud

I can never be more than that

We smile together
But I am not the reason for that smile
We laugh out loud
But every time we laugh out loud, it is halfhearted
We talk a lot very often
But the subject is not about you, me or us
We seldom join crowds
But you would sometimes make me feel like an outcast

I can not complain
Nor can I refrain
From the fact that I will never be the first

I wear my skirt long
I eat a lot
I repeat my clothes
I don't say the right things
I wear baggy clothes
I don't wear make up
I bite my nails
I have an attitude
And I don't have a hot boyfriend

I may be the person people talk about
Or the person who they think I am
But I don't change what I do for them
Or be the puppet they want me to be

But you didn't have to spread lies to make others agree
That I never valued you because you weren't my happiness' cause

Every person has a dark side
A dark, a damaged, a shattered or a traumatized one
Each side is a part that every person tries to hide
And eventually gets cold, so not to be undone

Every person has a bright side
A playful, a joyful, a carefree or a pleasant one
Each is a side that that attempts to misguide
The real part that tries to be shun

One side to hide and the other to misguide
A painful and a joyful face of a person
Both of the sides have either lived or have already died
Each have made the person better or had them worsen

Your brain says, "Don't believe!"
Your heart says, "Don't worry, he won't leave."
Your brain says, "You'll just fall!"
Your heart says, "Don't worry, it was a close call."
Your brain says, "You'll get broken!"
Your heart says, "Don't worry, I won't get stolen."

Then your brain says, "He's a keeper."
