Bouncing Betty in the closed corridor
The white walls bleed red
The red walls bleed white
Oh, how can we escape this squalid shell?
Ceiling fans Awaken
Silent hardwood floors,
They run screaming into the dull darkness
Let's feed the creature
That's lurking below.
Does the creature exist outside my mind?
All my rainbows fade
TO SHADES OF COPPER.
All the browns of the trees still look the same.
The mind can be a
Prison for your eyes
Let's escape Perceptual Alcatraz.
A silver dawn waits
For the queens return.

From my nestled comforts - to the tides,
That is where my serenity hides.
Silver waters consume my perception,
An Infatuated connection.
The glowing disciples in the skies,
Reflecting the aura of your eyes.
Yesterday's warm news,
Carried by the blues.
Today's melody,
Blooming lilac trees.
The cool wake drowns in the summer sun,
Golden coronation has begun.

Skeletons of the sky
Cloaked in a lush green tarp
Concealing blue myths
In sardonic ocean's waves,
A liquid crypt
With memory
Swimming, S w i m m i n g
In timelessness.
Tangled vines cowering
Over the rising tides,
Show all their true colors
Confronting shallow pools.

The tree's
Nature is to
Nurture
Red robin's egg.
Robin's
Song, caresses
It's leaves.
Sky professes blue.

The weight of the world
Falls to glass shoulders
Atlas panes
Shattering.

I can’t see my face
As it is drowned out
By obsidian mirrors.
The torch is passed on
By gold hooded monks
Illuminating curtains.
The moon's seven eyes
Blazing emerald,
Steal the iris of the sun
Hide the squalid tree
‘Neath the Kevlar cloth.
Infinity spins on tip
Of quilting needles
Knitted by the words
Of the god of the Raven.
The river divides
To the left and right
Ivory towers o’erlook
The cat tail junction.
Soundless chords echoed
Echoed
Echoed, echoed
Echoed
Into whiskey soaked sponges.
Austin Mosher May 2013
I see your face
Every time I close my eyes
Painting my dreams
The color of your disguise
