It's amazing looking back.
I've seemed to lose track.
I keep looking at that grin,
Oh, where have you been.
I once was lost,
Until we crossed.
You helped lead the way,
so I could get where I am today.
I am so glad you took me under you wing,
Thank You for everything.
I grew,
because of what you always do.
I know it's just you,
But for me, it was all so new.
I am glad you prayed,
so I wouldn't be lead astray.

They always try to hide their mistakes.
No one is perfect, yet they do what it takes.

Don't try to be like them,
Your your own shining gem.

Stand up tall,

However, don't be too proud,
or else you'll get plowed.

Just be who you are,

My Little Girl

The years of my little girl.

First Year:
I hold you for the very first time in my arms,
your blue eyes looking right through me.

You breathe slowly as you lay on my chest,
right before you close your eyes and rest.

Year 3:
Look at all those teeth!
Now all you want to do is eat.

You have learned so much already,
just keep going steady.

Year 6:
Keep your head up,
Don't look down.

Year 11:
Run the race,
That's the look of determination on your face.

You try,
I cry tears of joy...

Look at my little girl,
My little thrill!

Year 16:
You're growing up so fast,
I just hope the memories last forever...

Year 18:
I put that tape in of your favorite show,
A reminder that I had to let go.

Year 20:
I'm alone,
Until you come home.

Year 25:
My little girl,
isn't a little girl anymore.

You've got your own family now....
I am so proud.

Old Man At The Wishing Well

I used to throw away all my hopes and dreams,
Into the wishing well.
I was desperate for them to come true....
It always seems,
That no matter how much I would dwell,
dwell there for days with my bags of coins,
I left with not a single change,
I knew....
Another waste of my extra change....
It wasn't until an old man came to sit,
Told me something strange.
"You can't wish for your hopes and dreams to come true,
You have to make them happen..."
So I went out into the world and tried,
it was time to decide....
I put forth all my effort,
and my hopes and dreams began to come true.
I went to the old man and said,
"If it weren't for you,
I would still be wishing at the wishing well....

Inaffection - Hurt

It seems that no matter what I do,
Nobody seems to see me through.
And yet I am still so far,
Far away from what I am trying to reach.
Fearing that I would lose everything,
Existing in my own eyes as not being worthy enough.
Can you not see that I hurt?
Too late for your sympathy...
I** thought I had grown weak.
Over and over I couldn't see,
Never realizing what happened to me.

I am a stronger person now!
Never give up!
Always do it your way.
Forget what they think,
For they were only try to bring you down!
Everything that you worked for,
Came from your diligence and determination.
Time will tell you once said,
It's finally time to shine!
Only you can make a difference.
Never look back at the past.... It's history now <3
