Life is not as easy as if we just wake up and go back to sleep
For some,
A day means passing by six hundred and sixty-six dodging bullets
Years and years of continuous pain has passed by But we’ve survived
So, don’t remind us how old we are
Just remind us that we’re alive
That we’ve survived another year and that we’re still here
Or else we’ll ask death to pay us a visit and come by
Because he once told us it only takes a drip of blood to be by his side.

I woke up gasping for breath,
the old me just sent the last goodbye,
telling me we shall live apart,
blaming me for the unhealed wounds,
all the broken promises and lies

From that moment,
I dragged the pieces that were on the tracks,
around with me for an eternity,
hoping for a magical spell,
to help me find out,
why I was betrayed by my own-self

Or to dig a hole,
and bury me alive,
because death and I are friends apart,
and today we shall meet again,
above a thousand clouds of peace,
or underneath a thousand fires of hatred
