Bail or Sail
Anukul Thete Mar 2017
"Everything happens, happens for good"
The lie people told us in our childhood
You only believe it, if it ends well
If not, it's just another sad story to tell.

It is difficult to judge people close to us, by their needs
Sometimes, we let them get away with horrible deeds
Is that really fair? Do they really care?
About us? Who help them when in need
Without thinking about ourveselves, without any greed.

Circumstances change people time to time
Some turn out to be cruel, some work hard to earn a dime
Emotions rule us, they decide how we be with others
We either act like we hate them or we love them like brothers.

While overcoming problems, we either succeed or fail
The ones who fail stop trying and feel frail
Get inspired by the blind people who succeed to read Braille
Difficulties storm us and sometimes we decide to bail
But we don't realize we have a strong enough ship to sail.

Little did he know
Anukul Thete Mar 2017
There was once a little boy so naive
In his pure heart, he used to believe
That he had the journey of his life planned
Little did he know that his city full of dreams was about to become a no man's land.

He used to observe everything, every person around him
Asking "Why isn't every one like me, the me, full of vim?"
He thought he could stay the same, he thought he was capable
Little did he know that change is inescapable.

People saw him as he was, not what he could become
Because as a kid, he didn't have difficulties to overcome
He thought his innocence was secure
Little did he know he had a dark side to endure.

A "go with the flow" kinda guy, he didn't seem to care
He didn't realize life was gonna be a nightmare
So small, so innocent, so immature
Little did he know his hopes were going to demolish for sure.

Like everyday he woke up at 6,
Thinking he was nothing but a jinx,
Grabbing his things he left for college,
Dumb kids around him couldn't stand his knowledge.

There he stood, handling their insults,
Being nice to everyone like no one would,
He never thought something so little like perspective
Would ruin his ******* life for good.

He came home and acted like nothing happened,
He had parents, but he still felt abandoned.

Trying to live his life
He forgot to be a son,
People killed him everyday,
Because a painless death was no fun.

At the end of the day,
He looked in the mirror,
Realizing thousands of his strengths
Weren't strong enough,
As his weakness was always a winner.
