Us
In this world, we write our histories
with the blood of our enemies.
Too many mysteries
Too many identities.
We wage war against our own kind.
But what for?
We are blind
when fighting in war.

Behind every gunsight
is a human being.
In every gunfight
we are loosing
despite the nation winning.
Soldiers don't know each other
but lie in the dirt, bleeding
to death together.

They all have one thing in common.
They died believing what they did was right.
But their stories will be forgotten.
Their heroism will be forgotten in the fight.
"In war, there is no good or bad side. The soldiers in the trenches shooting at you, are just like you. Soldiers following orders."
