Strange Visit
Angila Sep 2013
A loud knock,
was what I heard.
At this hour of the night,
who might that be,
I wordered.
Begrudgingly,
I opened the door,
only to meet a giant,
and all so hairy man,
(not in a **** way though).

Hey young lady,
I'm Rubeus Hagrid,
here to pick you up.
You are not a muggle,
you do not belong here.
There is a school for you,
Hogwarts is its name,
school of witchcraft,
and wizardry,
(not a regular school per say).

We better hurry up child,
or the train will leave us.
It awaits at Platform 9¾,
and if we are not on time,
Dumbledore will have my head.
If we are late,
you will miss the sorting hat,
which makes me wonder,
are you a Slytherin,
or a  Gryffindor.

Anyway hurry up,
so go on and pack.
I would give you my wand,
but you do not know how to use it.
Do not look confused my child,
instead be happy.
being a muggle is no fun,
you will realise soon.
So hurry up lets go,
( I already hear snape grumbling).

Hallo sir,
how do you do?
I have a tale,
I think you should hear it.
You come here daily,
for your black coffee,
no sugar and a muffin.
I sound like a stalker,
well that's because I am.
I try to get you attention,
but all is in vain.

Remember the girl you accidentally bumped into,
almost poured coffee on her white blouse,
that was me.
Recall the lady that fainted the other day,
you almost held me before landing,
but someone else was faster than you.
There was a time you almost hit me,
you were driving that nice Pajero,
yet I was fastening my laces,
after a morning run.
I was there on purpose,
hoped you would try to see if I was okay,
but all was in vain,
for you drove away,
without hitting me.

Am no ******,
that I promise.
I just think am attracted,
to you.
You may not know it,
but you are one handsome fella,
and your physique,
that is another day's story.

I am out of ideas,
that might get your attention,
so promise me,
that you will notice me,
the next time we meet.
That is all I had to say,
now you may go.

That Girl
Angila Sep 2013
I used to be that girl,
the one you made fun of,
the one you mocked.
I was that girl,
the one you laughed at,
said she was ugly.
I used to be that girl,
the one you avoided like a plague,
called her wierd,
or was it akward.
I was that girl,
the one with no esteem,
the one that cried day and night,
because of what others thought.

I am no longer that girl,
no one makes fun of me,
instead am admired.
She is not me anymore,
no one laughs at me,
instead they laugh with me.
Ugly is not my title any more,
men break necks when I pass.
I am no longer that girl,
am now sorrounded by people,
people who think am unique,
not akward.
The old me is dead,
my tears come with joy,
and esteem seems to be my second name.

Fairy Tale
Angila Aug 2013
I wish I was Wendy,
When Peter Pan asked her
To remain young forever.

I wish I was cinderella
When the glass slipper
Fit into her shoe.

I wish I was sleeping beauty,
When she was woken up,
By the prince's kiss.

I was ariel the mermaid,
When she changed herself,
For prince eric.

I wish I was Jasmine,
When she joined Aladin,
In his magic carpet.

I wish I was belle,
When she kissed the beast,
Transforming him to a prince.

I wish my life was a fantasy,
Where magic is normal,
And happy endings are the order of the day.

Life
Angila Aug 2013
Life is an art,
an art understood by few,
but seen by all.
Life is like a painting,
a painting interpreted differently,
but experienced by all.
Life is like music,
music enjoyed by few,
but heard by all.
Life is like a course book,
one read by a handfull,
but opened by all.
Life is a choice,
everyone has a chance to choose,
but not all choose right.
