when you look in the mirror
what will your reflection be
one of sadness, happiness or misery?
when you look in the mirror
what do you expect
a dream, a wish that is too hard to get
~
A poem about reflecting and thinking about what image we are converting of ourselves.

your hands are not warm
you voice is not smooth
but it's the imperfections i love about you
your words are not solid
but your heart is all mine
i will get used to your flaws all in good time
~
It's the imperfections that make a person who they are.  Do no simply judge a person based on the little things.  It's their heart and purpose that matter.

what is left of this saggy old heart
no one wants it after being torn apart
no one wants something used and borrowed
because it could hurt them and cause them sorrow
~
People find someone who has not been hurt because they feel that they will not be affected.  If you find someone you think is your soulmate, work through the past with them, don't just leave.

make a wish
but what can i wish
i wished for the moon and never got it
make a wish
but what can i wish
i wished for your heart, the one she had stolen
~
Do no wish and think about something you know will never come your way.

if i were as bold as to walk up to you
   i wouldn't have the power
see, you stabbed me from behind
just by holding her hand and kissing goodbye
~
People don't realize that it takes people longer to get over someone.  Have consideration and don't display PDA in front of someone that is still trying to recover.
