Heartache
Angela Bennett Mar 2013
You were there when i needed you,
you watched me night and day.
My life was in your hands and
you held me so close, that
i never wanted to let you go.
You were my hero
shining in the sun,
And i was your moonlight,
so silent and still.
Though my love,
was so true to you.
You made me so blue,
by cheating my heart away.
It was as clear as day,
But as i was your moonlight.
I didn't stay for the dawning
Of my heartache.
You were my light
which has now burnt out.
And i am a symbol.
A symbol of the silence's screams,
that are too loud to hear
by the human ear
but may be heard by
the moonlight beams,
the rays of mourning souls
who's hearts were taken,
and are now left to roam in peace.
Where no man can disrupt
The heavenly silence,
Of the screaming heartache.
