I can't believe,
I once craved for someone's attention.
I walked into their offices,
And they walked out for their lunch breaks.
I waited for their texts and phone calls,
As they deleted my number.
Yet my priorities were in my call log.
I take the crown of stupidity and place it on my head.

So today,
I will ignore that text,
I will leave you on read,
I will ignore the phone calls,
And I will switch off the phone.
Because today I don't have a solution to your problems

I wish I could talk about three meals in a day,
or may be just one.
I wish I could talk about being driven to school,
and  walking home from school,
or atleast having a roof over my head.
I wish I had a talent,
to get me out of these streets.

I am not the strongest person you know.
My downfalls knows my pillow.
Every tear drop is a story,
As I cry my self to sleep.
And when it gets wet,
I just turn the other side.
And when morning comes,
I leave it out to dry.

Where is the boy,
Who sat next to me in class.
Who shared one text book.
Who lived across the street.

Where is the boy,
who walked me to school,
Who was the best of all boys.
He finally left when we were nine.

I know you are out there,
and if you can read this.
Can you quarantine with me?
