Ode to Nothing
Andrew Tinkham Jul 2014
And the keystone to your philosophy can be to give so much sweet
               meaning to nothing
Then nothing's good and nothing's bad what does it matter?
Nothing lasts forever or does it who cares?
You won't be getting flustered, you won't be having pause when you hear
this band you love say I believe in nothing.
Sweet nothing, how I love you
Fill nothing up, sing I!
Nothing is only the opposite of everything and it happens to be all you
              need sometimes.
Nothing
Oh you remind me of nothing, sweet innocent child you don't fill me with remorse I want to sing out! I want tears to abound and resound with a clash of thunder on my wet cheeks with a purpose to be happily sad and to love misery miserably and then cart wheel to wash em off and let them drip on the ground above my head and I'm sick of being well I wanna shout it I'm in love with your creation and this nation and it needs no explanation or even patience I'm talking now now now of nothing in particular let's board this here funicular and ride it to the top until we get there and we stop and then we'll look around and push the ground under and behind and we'll look around and push  the ground under and behind and we'll set out forth to find anything to beseech our hearts to mend a while and guide a proper smile to our lips our hips our ***** we made a joke of all the classes you made a fool of me in glasses and I couldn't love you more for it my heart is full as yours is and we are swimming thru the warm and forever changing world and we'll invite a few more to the party Lord willin oh yeah of course you know I'm talking children think now of our loving kitchen where we feed them and the park where we can free them that's a start babe that's a start now how I love you and ya know it some day I'm gonna show it and we'll see how we can grow it bigger boat we're gonna row it love you love you love you anyone can be like me babe and no one is you but you and nothing can comprehend the way you move you look you are how intricate you made a star but I shine bright for you don't let me forget no matter how big the waves do hit I'm shining I'm rowing I'm crying I'm sewing for you and nothing more it seems there's plenty more in store and I would love for nothing more than to see you at my table and darling when you're able we'll dine and write a fable me and you built on a moral and the moral of this is nothing but don't take me reader lightly lay me heavy on your soul for after all nothing controls you the way I love that girl and I swear there's nothing bought or sold about it I'm in love with nothing and everything and you and there's no way around that so we must go thru

— The End —
