central to a poem

is

the

notion

of

conceit

that's

not

some

elevated

idea

of

oneself

but

an

image

that

implies

more

a

young

woman's

poem

some

subtlety

of

feeling

not

well

expressed

no

questioning

of

veracity

or

how

it

lies

best !
it always seems to be the expression of some feeling/thought combination with no sense of a larger context or humour !

just grief over some loss and move onto the next thing !

is there anything harder than for a woman to laugh at herself?

to

the

the

applause

is

more

important

than

the

poem !
need i say more, those flowery eulogies that would put obituaries to shame : o )

ed. this refers to the turgid back scratching comments on the hello poetry board, but i think it applies generally   : o )

about

hello

poetry

is

the

way

you

can

just

roll

into

an

interesting

poem

or

thought

having

no

idea

it

existed

before !
sometimes they have existed before ; o )

i do

expect
a bit

more

from

poetry
you can use it destructively like reinforcing mal adaptive

tendencies by

wallowing

in

comforting

emotion

or

you

can

use

it

to

steer

you

through

the

rocky

passage

of

life

and

insight !

"you are my favourite!"

"what alovely and gracious reply"

these swine

too spewy to have any sort of functional real life

let

loose

the

effluent

here !
well the net is a haven for these "all feeling, no realism" types and i don't see that hello poetry is any less of a nest for them !

male

egoism

female

egoism

an

endless

blind

to

reality !

young

women

and

girls

writing

about

love

and

love

and

love

what

completion

are

they

seeking

except

an

inroad

to

hell

or

is

it

the

illusion

that

it's

heaven ?
what i find interesting is the very complete nature of the love but the very partial nature of its occurrence in reality, yet the hope of complete occurrence never tires : o )
