Larry
Men are dying,
Their families crying,
Dead bodies lying,
Bomb's a'flying.

The machine guns a'blaze,
Putting soldiers in a daze.
Spending my trench days,
In a ray of haze.

New weapon's are scary,
The situation is hairy.
Now it's time to bury,
My poor brother Larry.
As part of History class in tenth grade I wrote this poem as if I was in world war one. I am now a Freshmen in College but I found this cleaning.

Belief Comes and Goes
The lungs of my body
Are the lungs of my soul,
Weak,
Irritated,
Asthmatic,
Medicated;
Singing my heart out can not happen in this life!
With this air!
I have no breath to sing my soul to a higher place;
Head aches come and go
Breathes come and go
Honesty, comes and goes
Trust, comes and goes
Belief, comes and goes
Belief, comes and goes

Forever a day
When morning rise develops upon your salubrious face,
Dawn to dusk in arcadian love to praise pure grace.
To lament a prayer over seconds whisked apart,
Forever a day leave a place to dance into your heart.

For the man
I once dated someone...
I once had problems with this someone...
I once found examples about this someone...

I didn't like that she wanted ***...
I didn't like that she acted all perfect...
I didn't like most of all something hypocritical...

I heard, "Ooh he's hot!"
I heard, "You can't say other girls are cute!"
I heard, "Speaking to other girls is forbidden!"

I say no-way.
I firmly believe sexism goes two ways and this is just one mans outlook on it. Try to read it like readers theater or as if a different man was saying each line with different inflection and speed. Enjoy.
