I think your God might object
If I come visit your heaven
Though open doors is my forte
It may be possible that I'm a reject
And idiot son amongst all chosen
For I am a breath of true exposé
I deal with only the guilty
For them I have not much to say
And you met me at the wrong time
Your eternity is yours
And mine is penance
Well, if I ever see you again
Smile for me
For there is much less laughter
South of your heaven

Work ******* your heart
But don't forget your soul
Never let it be hampered by
The world outside's role

Loneliness isnt fear of being alone
But an anchor, weighing down who we ought to be
Seeing yourself being selfish and losing yourself to random whimsy
Blinded as you are, you see not the damage you have caused
Where your other half, is awake, alone while you sleep
Where you were supposed to be their rock, you made them alone
The loss of your burden, is shifted to her
She cries and you don't see
For she feels that her tears aren't worth anything to you
And you oblivious are just happy that your burden is lifted
Look in the mirror and see if you recognise yourself
You realise, you held back, and shut out of her kingdom
The walls so gracefully pulled down for you
Now you're on the outside, trying to look in
And you see yourself looking back at you
Tell me know, do you feel unbowed
Or can you see another chain and slowly you're dragging your feet

Blink
Now you see it, now you don't
Listen
How you hear it, but it isn't your own
Touch
Show you feel it, though the tangible is missing
Say
The words on your lips, etched deep on your psyche
Believe
That this isn't you, you are far from normal
These words make up your life, you think you can run but thought tempered by desire, for heart, for mind and for soul
Just one click away from salvation

The theatre is empty and filled with desire
The heart is lonely, mind fuelled by want
An empty audience ready to consume
Possessions the star cast, becoming 'I am'
The greatest sideshow of swapping cash for our time
Curtains open
Abandoning abandon
Losing the key
The greatest abstract, are we really free

As we kiss
It's not just about love
Not just the physical
Not the tenderness of your lips
Nor its warm embrace
In that moment
Our souls intertwine
Reliving memories of each tear
Each laugh, and every touch
It's not just the cosmos coming together
It's the splitting of the atom
The deliverance of our shadow
Hair standing on end
The weight of each shackle on our mind lifted
The sound of the heart audible
The voice of our being loud
It's not just a kiss
But it's our world, our canopy
The big bang, just for two

Dark eyes
Hypnotic, alluring, evasive
Confident, deep, evocative
Yet afraid to look into another's eyes for too long
For they may see the abyss from scars and the subterfuge of the lips saying 'im ok'
