Summer’s close
Green withers
White winter
Cold knife
Missing spring’s
Withered spirit
White night
Yearns light
Wet spring
Blue morning
Souls run
Souls jump
Warm love
Open water
Blue planet
I created this poem with a virtual word-magnet board.

When I was little,
I was afraid to be alone.
I thought the demons
Would come to get me.
But now I'm older.
I know the truth.
There are no demons
Except loneliness.

Most people like me,
But they don't know
Who I really am,
What I don't show.

Often I'm happy,
Nothing could be wrong.
They think my life is perfect,
The words of a song.

But sometimes when,
I am alone,
I feel lonely,
Just an unknown.

I wish I had someone
Who loved me dear
Someone with whom
I could be near.

But, alas,
There seems not to be
A person who
Feels just like me.

Love, love,
Or lack thereof
Rules my life so far.
But someday soon,
I'll find the moon,
To match my every star.
I don't typically write well in rhyme, but I like this one.

Night
Dark, mysterious
Sleeping, dreaming, creeping
Moonlight, owls, sunshine, shadows
Awakening, renewing, living
Bright, warm
Day
This is a diamante I wrote in second or third grade, and it was published in a student poetry book, "Celebrating Poetry: East, Spring 2006"! ^.^

All is fair in love and war.
But which this is I am not sure.
We are good friends, this much is true.
But ah, competitive side inside of you.
This little ditty was inspired by a gym class when one of my guy friends kept stealing the ball from me during speedball (this might be unique to my school-it's football/soccer/basketball/handball). He just kept apologizing, over and over again, and kept reminding him, it's just a game! And no, I don't "like" this friend. The love part is just friendship.

The Doctor is here.
The Titanic will not sink,
But the girl is dead.
Happy NaHaiWriMo, everyone! I saw the Titanic episode earlier. :x
I won't be on my computer every day, so I'm just skipping the prompts. I'll do them when I can, otherwise not.
