What is sloth?
The lack of initiative, the absence of energy,
The end of a genius.
Yea, it sparks the oblivion of many exuberant souls,
Yet, none lacks it, everyone fights it,
The competent and strong prevail,
While the cowards fall away.

The war every great man has fought and won,
His victory through his trophies displayed,
Is the war against a common enemy: sloth.
A persistent man does not resign himself to his fate,
Fighting through difficulties is his habit,
He does not give up without giving his every bit,
While a coward believes his failures are his destiny,
Diligence is something he fails to see,
And giving up is his trait,
He believes that losing is his fate
