Heads Danger
Alice Wynen Feb 2017
I’m startled to believe my assumptions were true,
I rather hoped they wouldn’t be.
He holds the gun, fires once,
Twice.
Hitting me with deadly accuracy
Right were it hurts,
The heart,
The head.
The heart bleeds, breaks,
The heads worse,
It thinks.
It throws punches of words.
‘of course he doesn’t like you, why would he
when no-one else does’
I try to fight back,
‘Plenty of people like me…’
Feeble attempts,
a fight won by my head.
Cringe

Leaves
Alice Wynen Feb 2017
Leave’s, like thoughts in my head,
Swirling, cascading.
The colors raining, the background fading.
I watch the show from my bed,
Through my eyes
and into my head.
Colors,
Running after each other.
They follow the train of thought,
A bird catches one,
The leafs caught.
She carries to a near-by tree
The others left to be,
She puts into her nest of thoughts.
But,
unsatisfied,
she leaves for more.

More
Alice Wynen Feb 2017
You could drag me through hell.
I'd  thank you for taking me somewhere.
You could try to **** me,
I'd thank you for touching me.
You.
You make me feel like someone else,
important.
Although you prefer my friends,
the girls with asperations,
the girls with the gorgeous faces
hearts
souls.
I can't help but stare after you,
wishing for something
more.

Fire and Ice
Alice Wynen Feb 2017
You are fire,
burning white hot
constantly moving
taking the things in your path.

I am ice
so cold, but
to feel the few seconds of warmth
before I melt
is completely worth it.

I'll Draw
Alice Wynen Feb 2017
I'll draw a picture of you
to make you smile,
I'll paint your eyes with a light in them
a mystery to unveale
with layers
and layers
all pealing back to reveal the truth.

After a while,
the paint will crack
the sun will dim the colors,
but that is easily fixed,

because I could draw you forever.
