Thoughts
Alfreda Apr 2014
I can't title this poem
Because the story has just begun

I can't leave you just now
Because I have finally made a breakthrough

I can't see my light
Because I am blinded by my Imperfection

But I can see the Truth
And I will find mine soon

I am ok.
Alfreda Jun 2013
I am in complete denial
I have become delusional
Craving a story that will never be

I caught myself today experiencing Jealousy
I can't let that one little notification, destroy me

I have to prove myself wrong, I can not let you matter

Why am I
Alfreda Apr 2013
Unable to let you in
Accept the you genuinely care
So difficult to love

so in lust with Love
Am I destined for a life of unhappiness
Or am I in the way of my destiny

I need to learn to open up
And trust that you care

I need to learn to trust you
Without reservations

I am the only one in the way of my happiness
And I am pushing you away.

Sylvia's Last Note to Me
Alfreda Apr 2013
Baby Lazarus, you will one day gain your strips
You started by faithfully singing a mad girl’s love song
And hopefully you have learned you did create it all in your head

Your head my juvenile is such a powerful weapon (even more powerful than your body)
You will learn to eat men like air
But be careful who you consume

Sometimes the air may suffocate you
And destroy you, but once you have learned
You will rise like the mystical phoenix

Dying I have always said is an art
And I encourage you to perfect this art
Let it be a one night show

Make them beg for more
Make them weep at the site of your great performance
Make it feel like hell

I leave you with this knowledge
Learn to control the wild cat
Cage it in a cell made of quartz crystal cluster
Before Heir enemy awakens
Consume as much pure air
Even though they are rare
Use your nine lives wisely

It's You
Alfreda Apr 2013
I miss the feel of someone’s hands on my body
Your fingers, slowly tracing the outline of my silhouette
As we simply stare into each other eyes
A stillness overtakes the moment

There is only you and me
And in that moment a slow smile creeps across my face
Because being in your presence completely elates me

Our bodies touch
And we become divine

I miss the warmth of another body pressed next to me
I yearn for you
I want to touch you
I want you here
Don’t leave my side.
