I would just like to say,
I will wait for you.

I will wait through the days,
I will wait through the nights.

I will wait through the tears,
I will wait through the fights.

I want this to work,
I can't see life without you.

If I'd ever lose you..
I'd surely die, too.

I can't stand the thought,
Of not being by your side.

As you fight to protect me,
My heart is filled with pride.

Just take my hands,
They are held out for you.
My shoulders are small,
But you can cry on them to.

We may grow apart,
But believe me this is true..
We may be just friends,
But I'll always love you.
This came to me at midnight.. I just had to write it down.

Is it worth,
All of the pain.
Is it worth,
All of the ache.
Is it worth,
All of the disappointment?

It may just be time,
To say goodbye.
It may just be time,
To start anew.
It may just be time,
To break this off.

We grew apart.
We have different dreams.
We cant stand eachother.
*But I love you.

All I hear is deathly silence.
You look away from me,
And I am invisible.

There once was a lady,
Who sat for seven years.
She sat by herself,
Her eyes filled with tears.

There once was a lady,
Who sat for seven years,
She sat by herself,
Where spiders made webs from her ears.

There once was a lady,
Who sat for seven years,
Thinking of her husband,
Who used to drink many beers.

There once was a lady,
Who sat for seven years,
Recollecting the day,
To life came all her fears.

There once was a lady,
Who was once very glad.
She was overwhelmed,
With everything she had.

There once was a lady,
Who wanted to have kids.
She was so happy on that day,
Until she found her son had SIDS.

There once was a lady,
Who was so filled with grief.
Her husband left her,
To her utter disbelief.

There once was a lady,
Who sat for seven years.
She sat by herself,
Her eyes filled with tears.

I can't stand it.

You're mad at me one second,
Then okay the next.

You want to yell at me,
Then buy me things and smile.

You know that I love you.
I think of you as if you were truely my mother.

But when you do these things to me,
You act just like her.

Just like the woman who made me cry every night.
Just like the woman who beat me.

Just like the woman,
You told me you would never be.

Mom, I love you.
But I dont know how to act around you.

I dont know how to please you,
And I dont know how to make you happy.

I wish I knew.
I really wish I did.

But you always tell me,
"Change in a relationship is a two way street."

"You cannot make a change in someone,
If you do not expect to change yourself."

Well, here I am.
Ready to change.

But, I wonder..
Where are you?

They way you look,
When your eyes are closed,
Is too beautiful for me to bear.
