I remember a kiss in a garage
the first one, in fact.
The bridge, and sun, and silence
Cold air on my toes as i relished in the last moments of that crisp fall morning
that small naked part of your back
A fan
when the weight of the down overwhelmed me
then,
reading, and waiting
I watched your chest heave slow while you dreamt
(the smell of gasoline lingered, heavy in your hair)
and like fuel for that insatiable hunger, I inhaled
and Consumed it.
