Monogamous
Like a pack of wolves
An honour for fidelity
Together through their lives
How commitment wasn't a matter at brief

O lone wolf, held your head up
Sympathy and what not
Mourning on what has been taken away
Or looking for a Capulet
What is destined will reach you

Like the complimentary delicate salt
and volatile pepper
How we never asked for them together
Like the sea under the sky
Were bound at the horizon

And til death do us part

I
I swore to myself to not write about you again
Because all it does is breaking me
But somehow it kept me alive
And so I kept on writing about you
As if you're the oxygen that has been flowing in my vein
And I need you.

You wouldn't know how to swim if you were never drown.
You won't know what love is if you never let you heart break.
That's what you fail to understand
That life comes with conditions.
Every beginning comes with an end.

But what we deny to believe is that there's good in every bad.
We never bother to believe that stars can't shine without darkness.
Sometimes the people that you hate are the epitome to the great things that happened later.

Expect less from people and improve more towards your reality.

Are you Houdini?
Captivating illusionist
Superior performer
Dramatic entertainer
You caught my eyes
Held my gaze
I couldn't look away
My souls caught on fire
Round of applause to you

A bitter solace
You occupied my mind
And here I am, trying out my luck, fingers crossed
Auditioning for a role in your life
When you have another woman auditioning for my role

You are a silence, begged to be understood
You are a whole new galaxy, waiting to be named
You are a field of dandelions, filled with a hundred wishes
You are a sun, burning bright deep abyss my gloomy core
You are a chaos in your own mind, but still
You dwell in mine, tranquilly
You left your traces, my heart is now a stained glass
You took it all and left the tattered remnants to me

None of this were deliberately laid out
Never have I intended to reach this far
You treasured the best in me
Swept away the dust, filling the void
Lit the candle in me that swore to never burn again
Now I'm pledging allegiance to the pain
Petrified of having to wave you one last time
Bid farewell, flooded with sorrow and eternal emptiness
We are mortal and doomed
I have to let go
Before the impossible profound us
Before we lose friction, permanently
Rattled to the universe you showed me and the honey you fed me
Infatuated with this blissful pain
Sacrificed my walls down for you to come in pounding my heart
My pages will end soon
But you'll remain one of its most beautiful chapters
You're my worst decision
But the most beautiful destiny
Pity you, quietly unaware of that.

Remarkably
Sometimes sin is a pleasure
And pleasure is a sin
Astonishingly
How can you be both?
A pleasure and also a sin to me
A poisoned honey to fulfill my sweet appetite
When there's death, awaiting
A hedonistic pleasure, seductive sin
Anguish suits you best
She's inclined, arms tied, heart chained, lips anchored
Scars remained, an ecstatic reminder
Fixing is impossible, when breaking is also a choice
But its too late, she's already induced
With his guilty pleasures and blissful sins

She's constantly looking at her watch, gazing around, anticipating an entity, on tenterhooks
She rambles and wanders, agitated
Until she felt a soft brush against her shoulder

"Where have you been? I've been looking for you. You're 30 minutes late"

As she mumbles and fumbles in distress,
her eyes were hooked to another pair of blue eyes, across the alley
Their movements were in recognition
She was at the wrong venue all this while

She suddenly lose her words
Her lips were anchored as she witnesses
Those pair of blue eyes, were sparkling in brilliance, meeting another pair of blue eyes
Their hands locked as they marched away together

She grabs her sore chest, grieving, howling, queering the pitch
Her mind dwelt away, bewildered in her own sentiment
Ignoring the entity next to her, he was in obscure silence

"I've been waiting for you patiently, my whole life" he uttered.

She found the wrong person, at the right time
While he found the right person, at the wrong time
Their tides of life crashing
Their path were inextricably intertwined,
for a reason
Time and fate swears to conspire with the universe
To discover what lies ahead for them
Don't grieve for the loss of someone who is still alive. Chin up!
