Where have all the poets gone the wordsmiths of this generation,  the fearless men and women once held in admiration

Lost to all eternity their anguish and their pain no love lorn tales or primal whails ,will be heard again

The romantics and the realist, all die a silent death
Lost to all eternity, amid the modern quest

Replaced by keyboard shorthand, emojis and the gif

Perhaps the emotions too are lost that inspired these greats, the teenage angst , the broken heart, that life cut short by fate.

The hour is late ,and sleep but a dream the pen I hold my only means ,to cleanse my soul and find my inner peace

The delicate daffodils pushing up the sand, as the buds on the trees pry loose winter's hand

The air seems much lighter the days a bit  brighter

Everyone has a spring in their step a smile on their face, as the warm air pushes in the cold to replace

But the happy faces and joy of the season leave me depressed ,now without you there is no reason

No thoughts of the summer and the days on the beach ,all now a memory so far out of reach.

Left now with memories, but for me it was so real, with time they say all things will heal

A distance sweet  daydream after a warm summer rain,a chilling wind then blows and with it comes the pain

I can't quite describe the emptiness ,the longing inside
I retreat within myself wanting only to hide

That darknesss I once carried, that was cleansed from my soul by your loving light, has found its way back again chasing out the light.

I can not even speak when in her presence , nothing I do seems right , love lost like Innocence on a warm summer night .

She Slip from my fingers before I knew her touch , gone now is the women who brought me so much.
No note nothing to say you either get it or you don't theres no other way

I was a pirate born upon the tide ,and traveling the direction that the wind provides ,my mistress ,my ship is all I need gracefully through the southern cross we did proceed ,you welcome as any to come along but you'd do well to remember this iam the captain and this life is my ship

Put yourself out there or you'll never know

Give love a chance ,see if it grows

But this do remember when your alone, each heart has a dark side that seldom is shown.

The pain I feel now I doubt will subside, the ache of this love as it slowly dies

Never again my heart will I give, this I do swear as long as I live .

You seem very happy with me now gone ,this fate awaits you it won't be long.

These words someday in your life will be true ,for what you did to me will be done to you .

Still working through it
I feel deeply hurt

Now we are only Strangers with memories, but for me it was so real

A distance sweet daydream
That's how it feels

I can't quite describe the emptiness ,the longing inside

The person I found within me retreated, wishing only to hide

The muse I had found and held so dear, no longer wants me near.

I can not even speak when in her presence , nothing I do seems right ,lost like innocence on a warm summer night .

She Slip from my fingers before I knew her touch , gone now is the women who brought me so much.
