Each drop of rain is a single truth,
constantly recycled and rephrased.
There is as much truth as there is water,
***** water being unclear truths.
Those who drown in oceans are overwhelmed by truth,
those who stay away are comforted on their solid lies.
Those who think happiness is sunshine
are clouded by bright rays of blinding lies.
Truth is the rain that you dance in,
walk in, slosh in, as you let it seep into your skin.
To dance in the rain is to bathe in truth,
perhaps not comprehending, but at the least, accepting.
Truth, like water, is essential for life.

Every day I sit around
and wait for something
anything
to happen.
But all I ever do
is wait

wait

wait.

I must have to venture
somewhere
anywhere
to find what I am destined to be.
But I am content with my waiting.

I am in no hurry for greatness.

When it comes to me
someday
anyday
I might

no

will

be ready.

I'll have to be.

As the lights slowly fades, we are left alone. We are left with nothing, no one but the voices that sound too close to be real, too loud to be understood. Though every detail is suddenly and oddly crisp, there is still no way of telling what lurks in this grey and black and white world. Only the shadows come out to play, smiling at you as you stumble past, obscuring whether they are friend or foe, making themselves deceiteful mysteries. The light continues to fade, as does your hopes for truth and clarity.

Shell peeling
and cracked;
Attracting stares and
questioning eyes-
No way to hide
from those
seemingly oblivious.

Concern and confusion
with doubt-filled looks.
Interrogations on
old information
flame up from
every direction.

Cannot conceal
what's really inside,
but it just
might not be
what you think.
