The Promise
marla franczesca May 2014
I hate this house, I hate this town
I hate everybody in this place,
Everybody seems so selfish
I can't seem to find peace

Nobody wants to extend a helping hand
No one could ever understand
Nobody wants to be alone
Why am I doing things on my own?

Nobody deserves this pain
Everybody makes mistakes
But why let me suffer?
Why does it have to follow me everywhere?

Crying will get me nowhere,
I can only hold on for a while
I wanted to leave everything behind
Sometimes I just want to rest in the skies

Nobody cares whether I'm hurting or not
No one gives a **** about what I feel
Lately I've been thinking a lot
About how I will never be able to leave this hell

I cried a thousand times today
I even prayed, hoping the clouds would hear me
Nobody listened, and I had no one to talk to
That's when I decided that I'm leaving this place

I'm going somewhere far tonight
I'm leaving everything behind
And once I leave, I promise I won't look back
I promise I'll never get back

You Are My Fairest
marla franczesca May 2014
Breathing slowly, chest in pain
As my lungs search desperately for air
As you cover my mouth with your own
While my forehead is pressed against yours

You are my fairest.
You are my only one.
Cause when the sun retires and when the night covers us
I'll be there laying next to you love.

Remember when you cried you're done trying?
And you've heard a thousand promises that made your eyes cry
"So trust me cause I'll paint your grey skies into blue"
And I made you believe my words of truth.

You are my fairest.
Let me tell you my wildest dreams.
I'll show you where the *** of gold is.
Kiss me as the sparks fly above us.

Driving slowly, driving slow
Sweaty hands intertwined with yours
Sunlight's stabbing our skins
Do you want to feel beautiful baby?

Certain Something
marla franczesca May 2014
We all want something good to happen
We all want something unique
Something cool we can be proud of
Something, definitely that certain something

I've always wanted a love like theirs
I've always envied a love like theirs
And then I waited for a love like theirs
But then it never came, a love like theirs

I woke up one day, to the loud beat of your heart
I held on tight, fastened my life with yours
I was riding shotgun, it was fast
Who knew if this would last

Cause all my life I've wanted a love like theirs
But what I had was a love like ours
It wasn't exactly what I dreamt of
But it was real, it was visible

I'm done posting pictures of things that will never happen
I'm done imagining of something bizaare
A certain something penetrated through me
It was so natural, I didn't see it coming

It was you, that certain something
Maybe it was you, I've been waiting for everyday
So it was you, it was definitely you
Not ashamed, I waited for you
