Her Smile
Abby Jun 2014
I knew this girl, I lived right next door to her
I watched her everyday come home from school
She would always skip home
She had the biggest smile on her face; it lit up the whole world
She would play with the neighborhood kids
Light up their world with that smile
She had an amazing smile
But over the years, she stopped skipping home
She stopped playing with the kids
Worst of all, she stopped smiling
She would walk up the driveway
Tears in her eyes; a frown gracing her lips
It darkened the world
She never came outside
Never smiled
Never talked
One day I never saw her again
I  found out she killed herself
I saw her body, she had a smile on her face
She was able to light up the world with that smile
One last time

You Promised Me
Abby Jun 2014
You told me you would be there for me
Anytime i needed you
Where were you tonight?
You told me to always talk to you
I couldn't tonight
You promised to always stay with me
You left me

— The End —
