Monsoon
Aayush Vasudeva Jun 2015
As the sun rose up and the stars came down,
Morning dawned upon the town,
but the darkness didn't fade, as something came along,
To finally right the drought's wrong

Temperature dropping, birds chirping,
Thunder roared, as the aves beat wing after wing,
The scent of fresh mud clouded our nostrils,
and the crashing of water droplets had our ears filled

We ran as our footwear pounded the drenched land,
Only to notice the street dogs huddle under shelter,
Shaking themselves to get rid of body sand,
and expose their glossy fur

Soon enough, mother nature ended the delightful downpour,
Leaving us craving for more,
but the best part is the fact that monsoon has just begun,
So leave a smile on that face, for things are still great without the sun!!

Itachi Uchiha
Aayush Vasudeva Jul 2014
There were many ninja in the Naruto world,
Those that join the Akatsuki and those that fight against them,
But there was one so noble and strong,
Sadly, he could not live for long

His name was Uchiha Itachi,
His noble sacrifice made the world live free,
He gave his life up for his brother,
Protecting his village to the point where he even had to **** his mother

Fighting for the Leaf, while being a member of the Akatsuki,
Freeing the world of the Impure World Resurrection,
Preventing complete and utter annihilation,
Playing his cards through the shadows,
Once you get to know of his good deeds, to him you shall bow,

So live your life in respect to this fictional but legendary man,
Believe in his will and yours,as in this world, you neeed both to survive,
that if you can!

Family
Aayush Vasudeva May 2014
We live in a world where we cannot live without relations,
To go out, lose control, and have a celebration
But to do this, we need those special people in our lives,
To even think about them suffering any pain, brings a tear to our eye

We refer to them as 'family'
Observe them first hand, in pictures or in the form of a tree
Without them, we wouldn't be who we are,
We expect so much from them, including gifts such as cars
But we forget something very important as we grow up,
The fact that they are growing up too,
Is extremely sad, but true
So spend as much quality time with them as you can,
For these times are only limited,
Prove to them that all their love is truly worth it!!

Aayush Vasudeva Sep 2015
In a world so crude and corrupt,
Our expectations are usually crushed, as people tend to be abrupt,
Who is there to look upto, in time of calamity and dire need?
They are the country's hope, uprooting all it's weeds

Army, a word that's short, yet demands respect,
From them, you can always expect,
Our lives, for them, are of greater significance than their very own,
Their brilliance and commitment are such, their every sacrifice is mourned

Days and weeks without food, water and family,
Be it a festival or a Sunday, they are never free,
They are answerable to none, for they are justice redefined,
For the country, they are equal to gods, never undermined

Pay your respect to the soldiers of fortune, stand tall and salute,
Let the patriotism flow within you, like the notes from a flute

Friendship
Aayush Vasudeva May 2015
We are all lost in a world so vast,
With so many creeds and so many castes,
But there is a belief strong enough to unite us all,
Giving us hope, enabling us to stand wide and tall

Friendship, the key to happiness,
A great virtue, one which can bless,
A desire to protect, an aching laughter
These are the effects of what comes after

It fills us with a power like none other,
Friendship can be between anyone, even a mother or a brother
It's a light that never diminishes,
A relation with a promise to fulfil a thousand wishes

So live, love and laugh,
Make it last all it can,
Sever your feelings of anguish and hate,
It will truly take you far and make you great!

Aayush Vasudeva Oct 2017
The spatial rend, the roar of time,
The pain of a mother, the infant's whine
The correlation, the linkage
A part of a mugger, a part of a sage

Is the deep and pure Soul,
Enriches the body and the mind
Makes us living beings whole
Ever ours, ever thine

An array of generations travelled, as eons passed
Experienced all the emotions, being loved and harassed
Our talents and affinities, it is the source
So don't fret and worry, and certainly have no remorse

For it is all a process, designed by a much higher power,
Our spiritual aura, our opportunity to soak the droplets from the evolutionary shower,
Is the evolution of the Soul, our destiny and our guide,
So what are you waiting for? Accept yourself for who you are, you now never will have to hide.

Water
Aayush Vasudeva May 2015
Living organisms, the tiny specks in a humongous universe,
Are in their own ways, extremely diverse
But what connects them to one another?
The very thought of it's disappearance makes one shudder

Water, the solution of life
Without it, who knows how much we would have to strive
Quenches one's thirst, harbours aquatic beings,
The sheer magnitude of it's importance, sadly, not everyone is seeing

A leakage here, a broken pipe there,
Is causing this magical elixir to become scarce,
Oil spills from ship wrecks,
Leaves our oceans in an unresolvable mess

Why waste what gives us strength,
To save as much as possible, I'm hell bent
So are you with me or are you not?
For before god's gift to us disappears, we need to save it by giving our best shot!

Berry
Aayush Vasudeva May 2015
There are many delicacies one can relish,
Some crunch and some squish,
but my personal favourite: the berry
Be it a pink straw or a cherry

Their appearance is a feast for the eyes,
It's an addiction rather, one that can't be given up, no matter how hard i try
Upon taste, the nectar trickles right out,
Spreading it's flavours all about

Perhaps one of the rare combinations of taste and health,
Ensures a satisfied mind and body,
In certain cultures, considered a prospect of wealth,
Brought to you by something as simple as a tree

Go right ahead, pick red, pink or blue
For something so good to be true,
Is a boon
It's magnificence will be widespread, hopefully, soon!

Animals, humans, birds and insects,
All exist simultaneously on mother earth, yet humans were the ones to conquest,
But it was truly pointless in the end, for the remainder of the species began to perish
While we Humans, with our unfathomable power ,began to relish

Our so called superiority, but alas
Equivalence even among our race couldn't pass,
Men chose to subjugate the other ***, women
Acting like lions in their den,

Chose to treat women like prey,
As if they were a piece of meat on a cutlery clad tray,
They hold the power to create, hence they also possess the one to destroy,
Times are changing, men's chauvernism is reaching the dusk of end, ah such joy

Equality is the key to the kingdom,
Yet we apply this concept seldom,
Women try to enlighten by the terminology and expression of feminism,
Often misused and misunderstood, this is beginning to diminish

Let's think from each other's point of view, let's live in harmony,
For this is a way of life, not compromise or a temporary ceremony,
It's time women were treated like goddesses as they are in temples,
My dear readers, doesn't that sound quite delightful and simple?

Emotions
Aayush Vasudeva May 2018
Raging thoughts, anger inducing
Peace disruptors, energy reducing
If you don't initiate control, your life goes astray
But if you feel and allow them to engulf your soul, it will not lead to dismay

Rage, greed, gluttony, envy
Are the weeds of the ever green tree
Of our livelihood,
But we truly only require the leaves and the wood

Happiness, contentment, humbleness,
Are the photons that disintegrate the darkness,
Its all really a state of mind, a controlled flux of neuronal flow,
That doesn't allow pessimism to further grow

Save a life, feed the poor,
Lend a helping hand, for such humans today who care for others are fewer
Our actions truly are the building blocks of our ever expanding emotions,
Believe me, this is the only remaining solution

A prerequisite for a balanced human, and a balanced globe,
We are the world's final glimmer of hope,
We are emotional living beings,
With empathy, self control and a plethora of good deeds.

The Power of Now
Aayush Vasudeva Nov 2018
Scribble, sketch,
Our opinions etched,
On the stone and steel, Upon our family and friends,
But we always forget this; what our past did and what our future holds never ends

In the here and now,
The present, the gift,
The only time rift, that you can control,
What matters isn’t what we stole, or will steal,
For our benefit, but what we feel,
And do today,
Don’t hang your head in dismay, let it go,
Whether we have a paddle or not, we will still continue to row

The boat of life, as long as there is water upon which we remain afloat,
The power of now.

This world that all the gods and humans and animals have appreciated
Humans died, souls cried,
It's been 18 years, I had to seek and you, hide

Then it happened, our auras met and merged
I felt like an oceanic animal, in your love submerged
It was the Creation of my divine,
It was the creation of my bread and wine

You are the universe,  our moments are the planetary revolutions
My life was a new year, and you are the resolution
You are the creation of my dreams, my inner aspiration
Your every smile takes away my life long exasperation

The creation of my present, the creation of my future
My target isn't anymore blurred
The day I met you, my past regrets were annihilated
And our fates, on the creators board, were together slated

Mother Earth, our home planet,
Gave us land to sow and oceans to explore,
But what have we given her, except pain and torture?
Oh, the very horror

There were times when and where we all were one,
Nothing could shake our foundation, not even the sun
But time did cast error after error,
And from the preservers, we became the terror

Wars were waged, forests were eradicated,
Instead of creating change, all we have done is waited
Species are becoming extinct, natural disasters are striking one after another,
Humans have become so self-obsessed, they have forgotten their duties and their own creators, their beloved mothers

So let's forget our differences and let go of the past,
For if we truly want to protect our future, we must act NOW and try to last!

Aayush Vasudeva Aug 2017
As I stared at the perilous situation that met me in the face,
My mind was clouded, my thoughts were surrounded with haze
But one region of it, my inner faith
Made me stand strong, believe, let me release away all my fears and hate

Be it in a god, a person or a holy site
It fills the soul with might,
But even though it's the strongest weapon in our arsenal,
It betrays our side, if we put it in a source that's evil and the harbinger of hell

Entire cities and countries were lost due to the wrong faith,
Made us heartless and inconsiderate,
To what the consequences of our actions would be,
I'm sure we would ponder after its all done, when the animals are dead and we burn down the last tree

The irony of faith, is that it creates and destroys
We are the child and it is the toy,
I hope we wind and unwind it's key at the right place and time,
Let's use it to restore balance, and not commit sins and crimes

You left behind a legacy, one that still needs to be fulfilled,
As more of your enchanting stories come to life, and leave us thrilled

Rest in Peace,

We humans fear and believe in the almighty,
In times of dire need, go into a praying spree
The hypocrisy of it all,
Occurs when we commit the seven deadly sins

But is that all there is to them?
Or was there another, which wasn't included, decided in the immortal one's realm?
It was the eighth in the form of love,
It puts you in a sort of trance, so intense at times it can't be broken, even with a slap from a glove

It instils us with more power than we need,
Leading people to make it their creed
Something that creates us and also destroys,
Drowning us do deep within it, to the point we can't even hear our own voice,
If the right ones are showered with it, then go ahead and rejoice

But forget this not,
If the wrong ones are chosen, all you get at the end of it is rot,
So be wise in life and choose the right lot!

There was once a boy,
Who did all that brought him joy,
He had an array of talents,
And some flaws, also some dents

He gave his best, he pleased himself,
But he couldn't do the same to the world,
He thought he was a giant, but the truth was he was still an elf,
In this civilisation of non appreciation, it made his head swirl

He now had reached his saturation point,
He was done relying on alcohol for self satisfaction, self belief was the club to join
Now was the time to do or die,
To wear his personality strong, and not sit and cry,
The time to do his best, prove the world that he was destined to be appreciated,
Maybe this crude world has done the best and not the worst, an unstoppable being it has created.

Walking down the sandy beach,
I ran towards the calm sea, so close within my reach,
But as i waded through the serene water,
I was met with the most horrendous of horrors

Floating, non-biodegradable debris
Was tossed into the land and ocean, on a mad spree
With no regard for mother earth and its flora and fauna,
Humans couldn't care less, just litter and relax in their fancy hot saunas

A lightning bolt of righteousness struck me in my mind,
And my path now i had to find,
I picked up the waste, without any haste,
And threw it in the litter bin, whereit rightfully belonged,
But the story isnt over yet, just hold on

Alerting the nearby locals about the conundrem at hand,
I paced away swiftly, as my footwear pounded on the soft sand,
I had done my rightful duty as citizen, have you?
Lets keep the land green and lushy, and the waters blue.

Lets take a trip to the past,
At a point in our lives where we were cast upon,
An enchanting and mesmerising spell,
By now,i am sure you can tell

A dimension in our time in this universe,
In which we could be free, no responsibilities,
An absence of the curse of maturity
That we have all been afflicted by,
But perhaps, we should try
To be more enthusiastic, a bit more jovial,
As we bid our childhood goodbye and put on a mask of righteousness, oh how we fell

Do what is necessary, do what is possible,
They say that is the defination of impossible,
But the child inside only has but one request,
To embrace enjoying life, cessating seriousness,
To not be a workaholic, or an alcoholic under stress,
But to see all with the eyes of an adolescent, perharps that is truly is for the best,
I guess the impossible lies in never saying goodbye to your inner child.

A bath, a shave,
The cleansing of cars, and our face,
All utilize the magical solvent, water
Whether the day is getting colder, or hotter

But alas, times are getting worse,
For water is scarce in all forms, and now on the line lies even our very hunger and thirst,
A lack of sense, a complete presence of ignorance
So much construction, for which trees are cut down, rivers are covered with cement,
These actions are going to make us heavily repent

I pray that the day never comes, when water becomes a luxury,
What are we going to leave for the next generation, after we have been burned and buried?
So remember, use it judiciously, save as much as possible,
Or else the consequences of our actions will manifest, and turn this planet into something horrible,
Profits are not everything, if there is nothing to spend it on that is left,
This game needs to  be put to an end,
And humans need to prove, that humanity still exists, this is something that we should not resist!

A grazed knee,
A sprained ankle,
Were not the situations that our young selves could handle

As we grew,
These incidences were few,
But rather than physical, we were subject to exhibit emotional pain,
It wasn't a drizzle, but rather an aching storm, crashing droplets of rain

We couldn't wait to grow up and be adults,
As if it were a perk filled cult,
But the realization hit us, once we did
We could never be children again, that car had already skid, down the wet, hilly road

But the pain made us stronger, made us more,
Unstoppable in nature, so we could roar and soar
Life taught me, to withstand all the pain that i could possisbly experience,
So much so, that pain now was my deliriant.

Inside Out
Aayush Vasudeva Oct 2018
The five senses,
Allow us to jump beyond the fences,
Created by the mind, from being overused
So many resources in one shell of flesh and bone, misused and abused

The belief of what happens outside,
Affects the magic bubbling brightly inside,
Turns our potential into darkness and pride,
Stealing away our foresight and hindsight

This belief is untrue,
For the potion and elixir of life,
Will continue to brew regardless,
So here we understand and rectify

This mess,
By being inside out,
Tranquility and serenity are what we gain, when we don’t scream and shout,
Anymore,
A smile and a cheerful recognition, are beyond the ominous presence of the gore,
Of misunderstanding and the pain of what has and had happened

So don’t be saddened, for even a t-shirt or a bed sheet that have been stained, are fixed when they are turned inside out.

Whether it's the land and sea,
Or the soil and trees,
There is a lock for each key,
Call it a restrain, or a feeling of being free

The sun and the moon,
Radiate light and reflect it respectively,
Their omnipresence exhibits the neccesary balance, a disguised boon,
Which is utilized so profusely and effectively

Take mankind, the most profound example,
A vessel of emotions, thoughts and actions,
An observable trait when the balance was lost,
Was when wars were waged, and today, it is when we are beginning to defrost the frost

If we learn from our ancestors and from mother nature,
If only we could let go of our superflous desires, such as societal stature,
And lend a hand to the weak, the needy and halt activities that render our planet and people broken,
It doesn't matter if it takes an age, for life is all a gamble, and i have an adequate number of tokens

Slit and pluck,
Their throats and feathers, as they scream and cluck,
Toss the bag of plastic in the jungle, our greatest fumble,
It’s easy to let it go, when you’re on top of the food chain,
So how about this, let’s play a brain game

This one's called flipside,
Putting ourselves in the place of animals and birds, the difficulties will not even begin to subside
Gills choked up with engine oil, whole colonies stuck in fishing nets,
Be filled with their turmoil, I see you’re finally beginning to fret

Your friends at one point are now completely extinct, and those that remain are conserved away in the cage of humanity,
Shot dead for a tusk, a horn and a hide,
The flipside is not exactly a point of serenity,
Backs breaking, as the brittle bones crack under the weights of tourists, an unforgettable ride

That’s the end of the flipside,
You don’t need to shed a tear, give sympathy or cry
Just let the animals run free, let the birds fly,
Protect the environment, clean the lands and vow to never pollute the skies.

And my dream faded away,
I thought I was dying
My thoughts were going astray

I grew up, my hair was grey,
My smile toothless, not my best day
I felt my stamina drain, my body was breathless
My fave wrinkled such a mess

A mountain of responsibility,
My child's school and college fee
Were the pin in the haystack,
My aching shoulders and inflamed back,
Were the least of my pains

College was fun, college was stimulating
The best time of my life, leaves me reminiscing
Playing in the mud at school,
Was perhaps way too cool,
Back in the good old days
These are time zones, life's funny ways
I was born in this world, free of regret and remorse,
I remember dying and seeing a light filled door

War
Winds blew with an eerie gush,
As silence dawned, filling soldiers with an adrenaline rush,
As the trumpet blew and the cannon ball was fired,
What resulted after was ghastly, not something one could or would admire

Bullets pierced flesh, blood spewed all over,
Pedestrians took shelter, as the fighter jets would begin to hover,
Ear ringing explosions, deafening screams of brave men,
It was all for something quite simple really, not for wealth or precious gems

The irony of War, is that it is created to destroy,
Alas, what a wicked ploy
Let's hope that war ends one fine day, but the truth is bitter,
The end of war marks the end of life, leaving behind only bones, fur and feather.

Up and down went it's head and tail

Before it realized,
This was all just a game,
The path is all that stays,
So now

Pump in, burn all the coal,
That runs your core, your soul,
Keep weight balance in check,
Your thoughts,
Or the train derails,
Not the ideal plot

If there is now rail ahead,
Its time to change your track,
Your path,
Move on to a different journey,
Or the train derails, and you wake up on a bed, or get rubbed on your back, as you cry
And Life begins again, a new path :)

Bravery and fear,
Rolling laughter and flowing tears,
Are the two opposites, yet so synergistic,
The barriers that hold our foundation, even a ***** in it can be cataclysmic

An outside stimuli, that shattered me within,
That sent me hurtling, into an unstoppable tail spin,
As I lay in a pool of my own negativity, that’s when I heard it call,
My inner voice, that did not let make me take the fall

A spark of motivation, a bright, glistening Ray of hope,
That thawed me from the ice I was frozen in, and let me stand wide and tall, as I walked unscathed from the fiery smoke,
Nothing is impossible,
No one is improbable,
Except my inner voice

So rejoice,
And let your mind and your soul channel out all the noise,
Of judgement and hatred,
The holy cleansing, the pathway to be pure and sacred,
The best and truest version of myself,
So I can walk through the valley that is unknown,
And not be a lifeless bottle on a shelf,
Let the world bring me down, break my will and my every bone,
But leave no stone, unturned,
My inner voice, burn baby burn.

God made us in accordance to our destiny,
Yet, this world doesn't let us go far,
Or live in a state of serenity

Fat, black, short, round, ugly
Words used by the weak minded,
To suppress those with powerful ones, we all can never be free,
Human beings have been blinded

With hot, ****, gorgeous and beautiful people
Don't you understand, all this will eventually be feeble
Doing this makes self esteem fall,
Doesn't allow us to stand wide and tall inside our souls,
It prevents us from being whole

It's easy to say we should ignore,
It's not like this situation is a door,
That we can close and lock for good,
But perhaps we should, in the end,
From the people that offend

Say it all, say it all you want,
Abuse, mock, taunt
Because all of that will accumulate and become our strength,
We will prove you wrong,
This journey will be long,
But in the end, our Inner appearance will take us great lengths!

Fair or Unfair?
Aayush Vasudeva Jun 2019
The irony of birth, the happiest moment of our lives,
Is that we enter this world, sobbing and crying,
Is it the pain from the past, or just hindsight,
Of what’s to come, in this world of unfairness,
The only choice we have is to harness,

A strong gut, and a stronger mind,
Age is just a number, it’s okay, just let it go,
Is all people say, to cover up and move on, like the snow before a hot summer day,
There is no equality, sexism prevails,
As the thunderstorm of this supposed fairness rages on, and tears flow down in anger and dismay, like a cold day's hail

If not now, then when will people realize,
That unruly rules are not only their demise,
Which is surely to come, but the demise of Innocents that only want recognition and equality,
Is this humanity's true face, which leaves us in a state of rage, with our fists tightened and our teeth gritty,
Such a pity,
If only the right people had power in their hands and the wrong ones would be punished,
A day will come, when we sit on the throne and change the world, while the corrupt are banished.

As they advanced toward the head of the signal, they blew their whistles, causing all the offenders to freeze,
Justice had prevailed, for the time being,

Wiping the sweat off my forehead, as i waded through the mushy forest,
Twigs cracked, hungry pythons snacked, on a juicy and lively treat
An environment some would cherish, while some would detest
But one thing was for sure, this heat was set to be beat

The chirping of insects, the shrill calls of the exotic tropical birds,
A pack of lions chasing a deer herd
The powerful flow of the river, the calmness of the crocodile,
It couldnt beat the river into submission, so it surrendered to its current,
It's sheer adaptibility, left on our faces a wide smile

Leaving the enchanting and lush green forest behind,
All we could do was reminisce and unwind,
At all that we saw and learned,
This was an experience one can only yearn.

Why was i born,
In a world so torn
So sexist, so cold
How about i just let my story unfold

Expectations shattered, as my parents wanted a boy
But they were stuck with the next best thing, a high maintenance toy
That is born to be married away, neglecting her education
And if they dare to go astray, society disowns them, and kills them in the name of retribution

And if that wasnt enough, we are also subject to ****
Whether we wear shorts, a burkha or a completely concealing cape
Looks like our only choice now, is to step up our game
Teach ourselves to defend, fight, attack, to be the decider of our own fates
Oh wicked world, here is a challenge for you; stop us females if you can,
Once we decide that its enough, none can stop us, no animal nor any man.

The Rich and The Poor
Aayush Vasudeva Jun 2018
Wailing cries echoed through the castle,
As the father placed below all the present parcels,
Under the glistening christmas tree, full of decoration,
To welcome the new life with a grand celebration

Simultaneously, more wailing cries shot out in another corner of our planet,
As the two parents fret,
They all made themselves comfortable in a tiny room, even then, they tried to have a wide smile on their face

As the rich child became an adolescent,
His arrogance and greed saw no descent,
He wanted everything that existed, even if there wasnt any need of it,
On the other hand, the poor boy saved every penny, bit by bit

Time flew by, as they both reached marriagble age,
The poor boy had a great career and job,
While the rich one never worked hard, only turned around his father's shiny door knobs,
The moral is clear, even if you are rich,
Work hard and be humble nevertheless, sew all that needs to be stitched

Time

The big bang theory,
Was the beginning of our stories,
Reshape, segregate,
Over time, it all came to integrate

Revolutions, one celestial body around another,
Never has it happened, that they stuttered,
But we as **** sapiens, cannot even comprehend the flow of constant change,
Only understand it via Dr Strange

We balance, we spend, this limited period,
In the nourishment of our minds, soul and our posterior
Clocks, watches, timers
They are all the just the calculators of the Primer
Time and time again, time is underestimated,
But it is the true measure of a life lived, adequately graded,
Utilize it well, for it only comes but once,
Lets learn from nature, as we all did once.

I was a born a happy child,
With crooked teeth and a cheerful smile,
But as age skipped stones, and i had more flesh and bone,
Life began to be shaded in a unique tone

All around me, individuals loved and cared for the opposite ***,
So did i, but not as much as the same as mine, but alas, the world regarded me as an outcast for it, someone that had been hexed
Individuality was no longer a common trait, you couldn't do as you please,
Regardless, i never changed my choices, my stubbornness was set to freeze

And there was another, that loved both genders with equality,
Live and let live, this term was drowned in humanity's monstrosity
But they did as they saw best fit, life was in their grasp,
They had evolved, and learned to tear off their mask

Next came along more uniqueness, from one gender that had wished to be the other,
But was never supported in their decisions, not even by their father, mother or brother,
In the end, our clarity takes us to our destined landscape, a destined world,
A reigon of self acceptance, from where all judgements escape, and where the universe no longer swirls,
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, yes, we are all of this,
This is our gallop down the prarie, this is our bliss

The Ideal World
Aayush Vasudeva Jun 2018
Gone are the days, when we all sat together,
Gone are those days, when animals had fresh fur and feather,
All was lost, the day our inventions went too far,
The inside was perfected, the outside was scarred

The ice age of our planet dawned into an age of water,
Trees were cut, endangedered species were slaughtered,
Everything was left to comparisons, self esteem was lost,
Hearts no longer burned bright, but became rocks with a thick layer of frost

The ideal world, we humans live in it,
Ideal for us, as we robbed our planet bit by bit,
Fish choked, forests burned away as we continued to smoke,
Gone are the days, we all were one,
This ideal world, will soon be lost at dusk, when we lose our sun,
Gone are the days.

Does it even matter?
Aayush Vasudeva Oct 2018
Relentlessly scribbling,
Our heart's fibrillating,
This mandatory curriculum is agitating,
when will the time come, when i can be free

Does it even matter?
Will it matter after 10 years from today?
Or will our will in the mean time be shattered,
And will we stay on our designated path, or go astray?

Even if we do go astray, dont be disheartened, dont hang your head down in dismay,
Because you are alive, and you matter to somebody, if not something
Is it really important to leave your mark in this world, or rather a vivid memory in the minds of our loved ones, a feeling of joy in their hearts when they recall your very appiration, and an enrichment of their soul when they realize what a gem you were
Mate, why do we even try?
Because the way i see it,life will make us eventually,
Its all about the time and place each of us operate in, as simple as that.

Unique
Aayush Vasudeva Apr 2018
Inhale, exhale
The necessity of mammals and aves
Even though we breathe in,
Our lungs get filled,
But the mind is numbed and thinned,
Here begins our dismay

My limp arm, my weaker leg
What should i do, accept it or beg
To the almighty
Or just ignore all the chitter chatter of society

But just you wait,
I have a sharper mind,
A more altered perception of time,
Even if my eyes dont reflect light,
My thoughts and my vision are on cloud 9

I cant hear what you say,
But no matter, whether its grass or hay
Because the horse eats, whatever you gave
It
I see your mouth, i see your face,
Just a small gaze
Made me hear more than those who have their ears,
Our weakness is our strength,
Goodbye fears, for we are unique,
You can call us a freak or a geek,
We promise not to peak, for we are blind,
We promise not to eavesdrop, for we are deaf
We promise not to speak, for we are mute,
I am blind, with a hindsight
I am unable to hear, but i see your tears
I am unspoken, but i am unbroken
For I am unique.

Continuity
Aayush Vasudeva Jul 2020
The fire thawed out from the blue skies,
As day had met it's demise,
Dusk began to spread it's hue, it's characteristic musk,
As the atmosphere was peeled, much like the eradication of the husk

To reveal the beautiful fruit of time,
Stars shone bright like large fireflies, as the crickets sang their hymns,
The moon was the Yang to the Ying of the night,
As bats flapped away, their presence signified immense fright,
Instilling it in the heart of their prey,
But just as they went in for the ****, it was once again day,
The embers of the glorious sun began to ignite the covering skies,
The cycle continued, but to those with watchful eyes,
Even the smallest details rendered us with the greatest surprise,
That life, is a continuity, an endless paradise.
