If I sent you a white gardenia,
What would you think?
What would you say?

Would you understand its complex beauty
or simply cast it aside as pretty?

Would you feel it’s white soul
or simply touch it and go?

Would you inhale it’s eccentric scent
or simply wave it off as nice?

Would you be compelled to look beyond what you see
or simply close your eyes to all comprehension and of what could never be?

Would you understand what I’m trying to say
or would you at a loss of words and never in tune with my thoughts?

Would you be able to see it with flawless perfection and laugh at the height of its irony
or would you stop marveling it as the seconds of the clock go by?

Would you promise to take care of the lovely white gardenia which was bestowed to you with such love
or would you simply leave it in the corner of your house,
in the corner of your heart?

Because it’s not just a white gardenia,
But my heart.

You are here,
You are now,
In this moment of clarity
You are my everything.

Do you feel the shiver running down your spine?
Do you hear the tremble in my voice?
Can't you see,
Beyond these walls is a heart that cries for thee.

Why am I so intent on pushing you away
When all you're ever done is love me.
I take back all I've done,said before
All I want now
is to lie in your arms once more.

I was confused.
Quaking at the sight of happiness.
But I'm through
All I know now
is that I love you.

Take me now,
Into the depths of this life.
Let us uncover, discover what is truly ours.
We will laugh, we will cry
but we are in love
and it doesn't matter how or why.

I'll be your boulder, your lucky charm, your everything in time of need.
I'll be me.
You'll be my soul, my love, my laughter in other.
You'll be mine for eternity.

Here we are, love
Where we can finally begin.

Will you come home with me?
Even when I’m broken as one can be.

Will you kiss the scars?
And heal the hurt on this heart.

Will you teach me patience?
And how to take the right stance.

Will you be kind?
Cross your heart and hope to die.

Will you love the world?
For all that it’s worth.

Will you forgive this mistake?
And light my way.

Will you stay?
Forever this way.

I close my eyes
And see a dark, gloomy castle with evil lurking around its corner.

I close my eyes
And feel the soft sand between my toes and the sun’s wrath on my back.

I close my eyes
And breathe that fresh air while soaring across the sky.

I close my eyes
And detest the bitter taste of coffee in my mouth.

I close my eyes
And smell the wonderful scent of Pears soap that I used when I was little.

I close my eyes
And feel the cool snow freeze my fingertip as I hold a icicle.

I close my eyes
And listen to my heart beating a thousand times faster than normal.

I close my eyes
And wait for my betraying face to turn red and give me away.

I close my eyes
And wait for the NJ wind to take me away

I close my eyes
And listen to the soft melody of music among the trees.

I close my eyes
And wish for the aching desire in my heart.

I close my eyes
And remember my life.

I close my eyes
And when I open them,
All I want to do
Is close them again.

Would you believe
I'm in love with a memory.
An illusion it seems.

You are not who I once saw to be.
Maybe it's me.
Or Maybe it's my stupidity.
Which made me blind
To all these possibilities.

How did I not see
When you stopped believing in me
When you started living in a world without me.

How foolish I can sometimes be
To not see what was there in front of me.

It's not your fault, you see.
You simply grew up to be
What I could never be.

And I stayed exactly like me.
Lived in the same dream.
Unable to differ between love and reality.

Yet I am happy in my little world of make-believe
While you struggle with your dreams.
So who is better off?
You or Me?

Look close
And you shall see
Everything she wishes to be.
A woman of strength.
Of Patience.
And of Courage.
Yet all she sees is Me.

Look close
And you shall see
Beyond those fearless eyes
lies a world of mystery.
A no-man’s land
For those who never believed.

Look close
And you shall see
Beyond that lovely smile
lies the hurt she yearns to leave.
Yet in all her years,
she just never healed.

Look close
And you shall see
A past,a history
she chose not to reveal.
But to live her life
with the same unbreakable zeal.

Look close
And you shall see
Just what she has achieved.
She has everything
But what she needs.

Look close
And you shall see
Honesty rings in her every word
In every syllable.
Yet in her story,
she has always been deceived.

Look close
And you shall see
Behind those little moments of silence
lies a thought of a dream.
A dream to land among the stars
And see what never could be.

Look close
And you shall see
She is everything She has ever wanted to be.
Me.

Love.
Close your eyes and let this feeling consume you.
Let it drown out those voices, those cries and let there be the music of silence.
Let it wash away the worries of tomorrow, of yesterday and let you live this moment without regrets.
Let it feed on the years of hurt, on the aching pain, on the tears that never shed.
Let it engulf your senses and numb the anger.
Let the sheet of darkness fall to the floor to reveal the beauty, the beauty of you.
Let it spin your perspective of the world, of your life.
Let it spiral into yourself, into the depths of your heart.
Let it light up your life, your faith, your hope.
Let it breathe and spread across your body.
Close your eyes and let this feeling consume you.
Love.

The space between my ribs is hollow and it aches for you.
Parts of me have been chipped and there are spirals of blackness lurking in my marrow.
But your hands are an elixir and my body just needs more medicine.

Do I see what I wanna see?
Do I do what I wanna do?
How is life gonna go on,
Me without you.

Do I say the same words every time?
Do I hurt all those close to mine?
Look inside, what do you see?
The love, the lies, in harmony

Do I hear his voice every night?
Do I see his face in my sight?
My heart aches,
My voice breaks.

Do I love him or is it just me?
Do I know him or is he pretending to be?
All I know, love is full of lies.
Will true love ever be in my destiny?

What is done can not be undone.
What is broken can not be fixed.
What is loved can not be hated,
No matter how hard you try.

You are the light and the dark till zenith’s height.
You are the beginning of every restless night.

You are the swirl of my being, my existence.
You are the reason for my very subsistence.

You are the angel, the devil and everything in between.
You are the face I hope to dream.

You are the mystery I vow to solve.
You are the secret I swear to unravel.

You are my knight in shining armor.
You are my prince, an absolute charmer.

You are the love, the life and the burning desire.
You are the earth, the water and the scorching fire.

You are the blue, the black and the deepest red.
You are the heart, the soul and everything in my head.

You are my yesterday, today and forever tomorrow.
You are mine, in every happiness, joy or sorrow.

You are mine.

You are a princess
They tell us
And we begin to believe
That a charming young man
On a white horse
Is our destiny.

And the years go by
While we patiently wait
For our one true love,
Making so many mistakes in between.
But never giving up that thought
Of our beautiful dream.

Until the day comes
When we are so terribly deceived.
The one who we thought
Would be ours forever
Leaves.

And that is the day
We realize
How foolishly we believed
That we were princesses
And a charming young man
On a white horse was our destiny.

So we pick up the pieces of
Our shattered life
And start a new belief.
‘We are not princesses ‘
We tell them.
And we will not wait
For the men to set us free.

Instead from now on,
We shall take matters
Into our own hands,
And be the reason of a new era
The one not based on ‘he'.
