A Dec 2012
I should have done it in the early morning
But I avoided it
I turned my back
And went to sleep.

Then…
Whole day
I felt a burden on my heart
I never thought
Love can be so heavy.
A Feb 2013
we were in love
and we were longing for truth
And now since we found it
lets perform love's funeral
on the bed.
A Apr 2013
He told me
“He doesn’t believe in the God”
But he used “THE” before the god
And he didn’t put full stop at the end
Then he asked me
“Do you believe in the God”
And this time
He forgot to put a question mark.

So that we can see
How one wall kisses to another
And because of this mutual affection
We have roof on our head.

An empty corner is a place
Where it is easy for spider to make a web
And a web is a reminder
We exist because we all are connected

Corners are asylum of our wounded hope
They say: let there be empty corners in our heart too
Because Love: The unknown guest,
Needs little space to grow,
Before it conquers whole world.

To think about someone
Who doesn’t even aware of your footprints
Who gives more importance to ticking clock
Than your pauses

To dream about someone
Who prefers to read newspaper at coffee table
And left your eyes unread

But some guys don’t believe in gravity
They believe in Love,
And they think
There is no connection between empty pockets and wedding ring.

You call this illusion
They call it hope
A Dec 2012
There is no one, other than you
Who think of you,
There are no memories, only
Your own mirror image,
This loneliness is born out of infidelity
I found empty envelopes in my letter box
And you can find words running through my nerves
Now I can fill up the sky with verses
But beloved soil,
I have lost your address
A Dec 2012
Red road,
Yellow tears,
White hope,
Nobody wears.

Black sky,
Dead pigeons, bullets fly,
Brown leather,
Doesn’t match a feather.

Green pain
Eyes rain
Amber wounds, kids sad
And you say: not so bad!

The ugliness of war
Looks lovely
When we see it
Against light!!!
A Dec 2013
Now
Since you are saying final goodbye to me,
Collecting your belongings
(Though you cannot cut your lips from my chest)
I am compel to ask a final question: “is love an eternal tenant in my heart
Or was it you, who brought it”
If your answer is first
Then I am losing nothing
And if you answer later one
Then I will be wealthier
Because now
One has to pay higher rent
For my heart.
A Dec 2012
Night is silent
As my heartbeats: which never able to utter your name
It is as silent
As mirror: the enemy of my eyes
Night never smiles
Like a mother: whose solitude is bigger than her hope
Be my friend night
I have already lost the day

What is more beautiful
A shinning blood drop on a pigeon’s wings
Or
Peace treaties of United Nation?

What is more expensive
Van Gogh’s paintings
Or his pain?

If two eyes were able
To see each other
Would one admire other’s beauty?

Why sea taste like tears?
Does river carry earth’s pain into her heart?

When someone left you
For nothing!
Then why her memories are so precious?
A Dec 2012
Initially you were fragrance
Wind used to give me your address
Then you became a name
Streets were known by your footsteps
Then you became eyes
It penetrated my days so badly,
That I had to bury my time
Then…you became a face…and then *******…
And this expedition cost me my innocence

And before I could have find a trail
A dense jungle swallowed me.

Now you become, home of a naked tribal man
And whenever people shout your name
I become aware of my nakedness.
A May 2013
There comes a time
In our life
When we can feel sorrow of the mirror, his sadness
And his longing for a true companion
We can see, he is tired of
Gazing into a beast’s eyes.
And then
We decide to leave reflection forever

Why does prophecy come with broken hearts?
Always!
A Mar 2014
She is a third world girl
Living like a timid squirrel
She needs hair, to live safely

Ghettoes, Gulags, Auschwitz at every nook and corner
Acid is boiling in disguise of hot tea
Her dignity lies in her silence
She has to bend her head to walk proudly

She is a gazelle
Not allowed to take a leap
Hyenas had gifted her chain of freedom

And there are posters in the streets: “A female terroristwanted…dead or alive”
She had planted bombs of desire
On her bare hands and visible legs.
A Dec 2012
We all wait...
For money,
For power,
For love,
And few wait for death
But most of us
Are waiting for life,
And nobody waits for Nirvana.
People cheat
Because marriages are waiting for divorce
Nations fight
Because peace is, a white blank paper,
Waiting for red ink
****** waits till first kiss happen
First kiss waits till the eyes write poem on the body
But…
A cage should not wait for freedom
Wings should not wait for sky to come down
Big letters should not wait for small letters
Instead of madness
Loneliness should and must wait for solitude
But the real problem with waiting is:
We always try to fill, “FILL IN THE BLANKS”
Ideally
We should feel “FILL IN THE BLANKS”.
A Dec 2012
Let there be keys without locks
Let there be dictionaries without words
Let there be homes without doors

Let there be silence
When we speak of love
Let there be grace in our walk
So that our poems will not ashamed of the craft

Let there be matchboxes without sticks
Because our children need them empty
To preserve their childhood memories

Let there be a metaphor in a worker’s sweat
Because dewdrops alone can not carry poem on her shoulder

Let there be a marriage (illegitimate though)
Between a gun and a flower
Because lonely streets look bad
And a caged bird is always sad

Let there be a reward to roots
Because you look beautiful with flower in your hair
Let there be a reward to cloud
Because we all need to wash our hands, before prayer

Let there be anger in our hand and peace in our head
Let there be a blunt knife in our pocket
Just in case…

Let there be nakedness between all of us
So we can look into each other’s eyes
And say: “Our daughters are safe in each other’s garden”
Let there be nakedness between all of us
So when we make love
“We make love to our beloved one only”

Let there be no history
Because we exchange hugs and kisses in present
Let there be no geography
Because contours of love are powerful enough
To define our boundaries
Let there be no mathematics also
Because nature never counts her blessings

And let there be a finite infinity in our life
And enough strength in our legs
So our walk to horizon would not stumble
And we fall like an autumn leaf.
