Mirror,  mirror on the wall
Who is the fairest of them all?

If beauty isn't on the inside then
the extent of it must not be very wide

I don't know what you want me to say
But it's judged on personality

And so you may shatter me into pieces
But it's not how nice your makeup is

So let me tell you clear and loud
You are not the winner that I've found

I sat there staring at
The empty closet
The empty drawers
The empty room
I stopped
Why was it so empty
Because
This is my brain
Where what used to be imagination and fun
Is all gone
Where the most exiting adventures
No longer exist
Where everything has changed
But nothing has begun

She jumped
She fell
She wished
Nobody was there to catch her
She had to hope
Those pitch black wings
Would let a fallen angel fly

The rain fell softly
Silently
I stared out my window
Scared
I felt nothing
Wondering
What is happening
Anything?

She's fake
They say
She's not real
She's fake
They say
She won't eat 1 meal
She's fake
They say
She's much too thin
She's fake
They say
But she does it for him

She ran up the mountain
And ran back down
Not a second to look at the view

She was a human living
A human breathing
But she never took time to simply be a human being

She thought it was too risky
And that's why I'm asking you
To go out there and make a difference

And live life on the edge
