We see ourselves in others and vise-versa, so we should share the love; self love

In bible school they tell us to love your neighbor as yourself,
And this made sense.
As children we understood.
We all knew if someone was unkind, we should still show them kindness.
But somewhere along the way something got lost.
We did.
Somehow we forgot that to show others unconditional love,
We must first show ourselves that same love.
Beating ourselves down into self-worthlessness means we cannot give everything to the Relationships we have.
Instead of a coursing connection it will become a draining monologue of doubt and deprecation.
If your lover looks upon you and sees beauty, who are you to say they are wrong?
If they declare you to be brilliant and beautiful how can you stand to say anything otherwise?
Who are we to tell the world that bore us, that we love, that we, a very part of this earth, are unworthy?
We must look into the reflection of ourselves in others and see the beauty in it; in the world, in them, and yes, despite it all, even ourselves.
