Curiosity

Curiosity never killed.

Lost

I was lost and scared.
     I didn’t know where I was going.

Everything around me was collapsing.
    
  Nothing seemed to help.
          I was hopeless.

But one day.

I met you.
You helped me find my way.

Broken

People tell me I'm broken
They say I've been shattered into tiny pieces with no hope of ever being put back together
They say my shards cut them
And yet
Somehow
I never heard the sound of me breaking

Time and Thought

They say the universe is infinite
Minds wonder on
It keeps going and going
Kept running by Thought and Time
After many years they will stop
All good will come to an end
Ideas will stop being made
Time and Thought will no longer exist
But it will keep going on and on and on
Until that one day
When everything must go to rest

Open Arms

I've opened up my arms for you to come.
I'm still waiting for that day.

I Dreamed

People always told me to dream
They said it would lead my way
They told me it would give me hope
I've always dreamed and dreamed
I dreamed for purpose in my life
For something to keep me living
But the dream was fading
My faith had left
So I decided it was time for the dream to end
