When the tree of autumn sheds its last leaf,
And the first snowflake brings their winter breeze.
The lakes are ice, and fish hide in their reefs,
The frost on the windows take over and freeze.

The warm scent of chocolate fills each other,
As the heat of the fireplace warms us.
each partner holds on to their romantic lover,
When the lights of a tree shine like a bus.

When the presents under the tree glisten,
And the quiet night silences the street.
Kids are tucked in bed trying to listen,
The most special man was coming to meet.

For it was the night before christmas again.
When jolly old Nick comes out of his den.
Bringing kids presents from near and far,
Under the tree, to the top of the star.

This christmas magic lives forever on,
A moment we cherish, from dusk to dawn.

Life is so strange
Nothing stays the same
Everything change
But who to blame
Life is like a game
Where you have to lose
Before you can gain
To win you have to face the fearful rain
In Life.. They always say
Don't use your heart
Only use your brain
In life there is love
But the more is hate
No one decide
They all hesitate
And who knows the fate
The closest people you need go away
When you need them the most
You find them lost
Day after day
Days go by
People are born.. and other die
Year after year
No one understands
Nothing is clear
Nothing in our hearts except fear
And so I wonder,
Why?

My sister was never good at school.
She never had straight As, or did her homework.
Our parents gave up on her, not knowing.
Things would only go downhill from that.
She pushes everyone away,
She throws up in the middle of the night.
Pretends its food poisoning.
She goes to therapy two times a week.
Says its helping,
I knew it wasn't.
She gets diagnosed with depression.
Calls it a hoax
My chest began to close,
My heart stopped.
"The hospital" I hear them say.
She screams and cries from inside the room.
My heart starts pounding faster.
She gets in the car, still crying.
Faster.
We arrive and they bring her in.
Faster.
We get back home.
Faster.
It was pumping so fast I felt I couldn't breathe.
Walking into her room,
Seeing all her stuffed animals.
I could feel them staring at me,
Why didn't I help her?
Why didn't I let her know I was there?
Why did I argue with her?
My heart slowed.
My breath went to normal.
Why did I even write this?
