Victory in hand,
Winds of fate cannot undo,
Strength in every step.

The world is vast, a canvas wide,
Endless skies where dreams reside.
You are the paint, the brush, the hand,
A force that shapes the shifting land.

Each breath you take, a star’s embrace,
Ancient fires, timeless grace.
With every step, you carve your way,
A mark that lingers, night and day.

Through the fabric of time you weave,
The future bends, the past believes.
Your will, a storm that moves the sea,
Echoes through realms where none can see.

You are the pulse, the heart, the spark,
A light that shatters endless dark.
In your soul, the universe does bend...
You are the start, and you are the end.

Jackrabbit takes flight
Coyote snaps at empty air
Better luck next time!

In the whirl of my mind, where echoes roar,
A storm of thoughts that I can’t ignore.
Untamed, unchained, they twist and fly,
Like winds that howling refuse to die.

I try to control them, bring them to heel,
But they laugh and dance, too wild to feel.
I give them words, and still they break,
Chasing answers, but none they’ll make.

I wear a look, absurd and wide,
A glance that says, “Where’s the guide?”
Injustice, chaos, the way they lay,
I shake my head and walk away.

But here, within, there’s something more,
A lesson buried deep, a silent roar.
Patience, grace, the secrets found,
When I finally stop and hear the sound.

My thoughts, like rivers, twist and wind,
Rushing forward, but hard to bind.
In their flow, I glimpse the key...
Letting go is what sets me free.

In the quiet of my space, I pause,
To face the chaos, to bear the cost.
For once, the storm within me calms,
A whispered peace, a subtle balm.

And though the world may spin askew,
I stand, unshaken, firm and true.
With my echoes loud, my mind untamed,
I am whole, in my own name.
This comes from a book I am writing.  It is based on the mind of my protagonist.

I close my eyes and I see
a tiny golden thread beckoning me.
I want to follow.
I want to go.

I smell the sweetness in the air
as gentle breezes brush my hair.
I want to follow.
I want to go.

My ears fill with melodious song.
It sings to my heart like I belong.
I want to follow.
I want to go.

I step forward, light as air.
Golden whispers everywhere.
I want to follow.
I want to go.

Through tangled woods and silver streams
Drifting softly into dreams.
I want to follow.
I want to go.

A voice so tender calls my name.
Like candlelight, a beckoning flame.
I want to follow.
I want to go.

So I follow, light and free,
Drifting where the thread leads me.
No fear, no weight just golden glow.
I just follow; I let go.

I open my eyes and I see
The world still holding onto me.
I want to run.
But I don’t go.

Shadows whisper, soft yet strong,
Reminding me where I belong.
Though golden light calls from afar
I just stay; I guard my heart.

Can you perceive the beauty all around,
Where hope resides in whispers of the breeze?
Each leaf that trembles, every vibrant sound,
Awakens life with gentle, tender ease.
In every stone lies wisdom, calm and deep,
A soul encased in time’s relentless flow,
While trees, like sentinels, stand tall and steep,
Their branches cradle dreams, both high and low.
The Earth, she breathes; her heartbeat thrums the ground,
In symphonies of rustling grass and sighs,
Her essence dances where our hearts are found,
A tapestry of life beneath vast skies.
So let us pause and hear the world's embrace,
In nature's arms, we find our rightful place.

Can you feel the pulse,
Life breathes in each leaf and stone…
Nature's heartbeats throng
