I've decided to take this empty space, and fill it with words of love,
So hear now, my sweet angel, and listen for it’s you that I speak of.
I wish you well, in your many years of life,
I hope you’ll find the man, who’ll call you his wife.
Take these words, and take it to heart,
Then you've found your love, may nothing ever tear you apart,
Through struggles, and trials, through much pain and fallen tears,
Know the love of friendship, the love from your peers.
They stand by you, without judgment nor blame,
Know that you are still as amazing when you leave them, and just as amazing as you came.
They’ll help you, and guide you, shape the person you are today,
Know that the love of a friend, is always there to stay.
Look upon this letter, and what ever more that you may need me to send,
to reassure, my dear, that love will find you in the end.
Whether your knight comes soon, in shining armor, gleaming and all,
or perhaps later, when returned from the call,
I pray that he’ll look after you, and love you for what you are,
because you’ll be his angel, his love, his shining star.
So here I end this poem for you,
That you’ll find the man that’s worth his salt,
and will eventually earn your earnest,
“I do.”

It's a good day to rain,
when I don't see you again,
it makes me just,
that much sadder.

You're the sun, making me feel warm,
inside and out,
you've got my head spinning,
I say this without a doubt.

You're a breath of fresh air,
when you're around,
you're the whispering wind,
that glides without a sound.

But it's only a good day for rain,
when you're not around,
because then my heart's heavy,
and you aren't there to help hold it,
because you can't be found.

Ah what a shame,
what a shame,
seven years to this day,
is when you went away,
never to return from up, up above,
so soon,
my first true love.

I miss you, I will, and always,
for when you're not here,
it seems I see only rainy days.

So long dear sun,
never to return to me,
fare thee well oh love, mon cheri,
I hope you're up there, watching over me.

For today,
as everyday,
is A good day for rain.

Time
so much and so little,
how we play out the strings,
like on a small fiddle.

The tune is sweet,
some times it's abysmal,
it's a love song, but a damning riddle.

Ah how it plays with us,
saying we have plenty,
only to find, how fast it fills,
even when we're still empty.

Time,
what a wonderful,
precious thing,
we always need more,
when we just need understanding.

Time well wasted,
is when i'm with you,
time elsewhere, with others, oh it just wouldn't do.

So here I sit,
far across the room from you,
how much time have I wasted,
not knowing what to do.

Just want,
want,
need,
one more time.

Before we leave.

I wish I were
your favourite scar

The one that you
enjoy telling stories about
as you run your fingers across

Like a prized possession
you got by accident

Ding ding!
The round has started,
so put'em up,
let's see what you're made of,
how long 'till you give up!

Go ahead!
Knock me down!
Shut me up!
You won't see this boy give up!

Come on!
One more time!
Your punches ain't hardly,
worth a dime!

C'mon, c'mon!
I'm gettin' really bored!
Here, let's make it interesting,
I'll even give you a sword!

Careful now, the thing is sharp!
It ain't like what you're used to,
the strings of a harp!

Ha ha, haha!
Now it's getting fun,
now it's really time,
this fight has really begun!

Ooo! Getting close now,
you almost had me there,
watch it, watch it!
You'll mess up my hair!

**** me, and my cheery attitude,
c'mon, c'mon, relax!
Gotta take it easy dude!

Alright alright,
no more playing around,
I'll win this fight in two more moves,
and you'll be out, nice and sound.

G'night! G'night!
Sweet dreams, sweet dreamer!
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee!
Whoa, that was fast, way too easy!

Alright round 2, c'mon step right on up!
Let's see how far you get,
before you give up?

So try me, I dare ya, and I'll show you what I'm made of,
I'm made of faith, obedience, and loyalty,
but most of all,
with love.

For want of a better body,
you traded your health instead,
you traded so much, too much,
that in the end you look quite dead.

For want to be, with the times of history,
you picked up the joint and smoked a few,
and now you can't see clearly.

For want to be tough, and protected at the same time,
you wanted to make quick cash the easy way,
instead of hard work to make the dime.

For want of the pleasures,
that this sorry world does have to offer,
you can't tell what's real anymore,
isn't that just a whopper?

For want of something,
you traded more than your share,
you'll lay it all down on the table, no holding back,
now why would you lie so bare?

Because we want something in return,
and never get enough,
we always think we're hot-shots,
till someone calls our bluff.

For shame, for shame,
traditional values have been lost,
for want of individuality,
we traded our morality, and oh at what the cost.

For shame, for shame,
we blame the politics,
we blame everyone else around,
but to us it never sticks.

For want, for shame,
we only have ourselves to blame.

Some where
along the way,
you have to pick and choose,
a place to stay.

Some how,
along the stay,
you'll pick up friends,
or lose some anyway.

You rest a while,
or run in place,
thinking maybe some how,
you'll leave a trail, or not a trace.

So you pick up your things,
and continue on your way,
because you've got a place to be,
and there's no more time to delay.

You move at first light,
at, indeed, the ****-crack of dawn,
through the hills and valleys,
through a neighbor hood of fresh cut lawn.

But somewhere along the way,
even with immense and terrible beauty,
you start to feel the weight of your bag on your shoulders,
and you wonder why you feel so lonely?

You have friends,
yes indeed it's true,
but there's not one yet,
who'll stand right beside you.

So some where along the way,
with a new found, driven goal,
you'll go out looking again,
to find someone who'll ease your soul.

You'll find treasures through the wreck,
peace within the storm,
you'll shout the echo of silence,
all in such an elegant and monstrous form.

You'll find this,
maybe him, maybe her, be that as it may,
you'll find this and more!

All along the way.
