If it were possible to hasten life
To blur the years, and daytime into night,
Regret would be our lonely widowed wife
Ourselves soldiers with nothing left to fight

Why then, is it common to demand love
To place stiff bars around the fair and pure
Encounter it only to let go of
You cannot push what is not yet secure

It is not a trapped bird to just observe
Its song is clear, the echo of a breath
It’s touch is something that we all deserve
For without love, life just waits for it’s death

Love is free it cannot be ours to choose
Let it be, love is our limitless muse

Lost Soul
If you are tired as hell,
                                      And not feeling well.
You better  take a nap
                                     You'll stop feeling like crap.

Why is it bad to give up?
People make us feel guilty
About being tired
And torn
And broken
We can't stand anymore.
We can't form words or thoughts
And yet you want us to press on?
On for what?
Where is the light at the end of this tunnel?
What are we even fighting for?
We all want something simple
Love,
Time,
Or family,
I just want to sleep
So don't you dare call us weak,
Because we don't want to give up but
It's not worth it anymore
We need to do some damage control
We're the casualties of the war that we're the only ones fighting so
Why not surrender?
Please comment :)

Lost and never to be found, the thickness of the forest is growing more and more as we venture deeper, not knowing what lies beyond the next busch, rock, shadow. But its the ever glowing brightness from the moons shine that keeps my path right on track. Ive been in this forest for years, beaten and battered by the stroms but through it all I have stayed grounded and rooted to life. I dont know if ill ever find my way out, but for now the sounds and beauty of nature shall keep me on my way.
