Gazing to the left
When you don’t do the right thing.
Flickering your eyes,
Acting, looking so naive.
The high heels hit the stone
In greyish monotone.
My heart was not yet torn,
Decisions have been shown.
One lost little word,
Perhaps a face unwelcomed,
A gesture of some sort
I don’t even remember.
The wishing well got dry,
The gold began to melt,
The iron was still solid
Sharpened direct from hell.
No ruby handle needed,
Even dirtied with blood.
The dagger lurked within me,
Trembling at my sighs.
Oblivious, unpolished,
Devoid of any color .
From slumber to another
Your love made me eternal.
