After many days and many fights
Imagining those countless, sleepless nights
Or maybe it was just one snap
A conversation you didn't get right
No amount of speculation
Will ever tell me the truth
Did you have a falling out?
At one time two friends
Killed by the fear that everything ends
With no explanation
Only the speculation
And the fear that everything ends

Purposefully scrolling
While saying it's aimless
There is something to find
Even if it should be left undiscovered
As it has for months now
Everything is more peaceful that way

I like to write
Almost in a stream
No need to revise or anything
Even if I should
Each piece
The capturing of one feeling
Or thought
All at any given time
And everything I have written
Anything I have created
All works together
In tandem
To paint one picture
So even one work
One that appears incomplete
It all works to create a whole
At least
That is what I tell myself
If I were to edit
And revise
Each work
Each piece
Would work better
Alone or together.

Sometimes stories don't conclude
They simply evolve
A chipmunk will never be satisfied
So the story will simply evolve.
