This is from a couple years ago.

Sometimes I'm inspired to write ad-hoc. Yup!

"You are the profound mystery of the song of all the spheres in my universe. My star-crossed eyes look up to you and I sigh, sometimes cry, at the way you make my world spin the way it was made to, and I love you!!!"

It's late
Gregory May 2018
Some say "early."
I hear the train howling treble blasts, it's bass rumbling crossing. Now brass-tone blowing. Still, that steel brake screech and ground ground thunder. A sixty ton angel glides by...
Crickets toss volleys of "Go to sleep, we'll sing you there" as Gods's wind drifts in sweet, cool air.

Nychtophyle, take 2
Gregory May 2018
As of now I'm basking in the lustrous, yet glossy glow of Luna, while the staccato piccolo crickets, viola treefrogs staying low key and violin sussurating breeze in the trees sing a sweet soporific semi-symphony.

This is what happens when I can't sleep...
"That quick breath of beauty breathed upon my hearth heart wreathed in rose-thorn carved stone, feeds flames like a bellows blown. Sparks start, and fly high, as this woeful wary wanderer comes back nigh. Burn bright, burst in brilliance, in love with lustrous light. See the shadows daring dark dance on the face of dalliance, daring, maybe scaring, those faces on which whose smiles reflect eachother's during. Haply, enduring?"
