Unknown soldier Oct 2013
With clubs and stones you walk through the streets
To demand,
what you are entitled to.
The heat
The adrenaline
It corrodes your whole body
Determination flows through you like thunder
Sweat covers you forehead like rain
You want to scream
You are alive!!!

But then,
You remember
Gray walls in front of you
That old clock ticking away
And the television running.
It's throwing rainbows on your face

And that hate you had
All of a sudden,
vanished
Unknown soldier Oct 2013
Time
You cannot stop it.
There is nothing scarier,
than watching it pass
That moment is forever gone
That's why we have jobs
That's why we watch TV
To ignore
How it fades

It cannot be caught
Or saved in a wooden box
You cannot see or hear it
And you will not find it anywhere.
Looming in a corner
Or hiding beneath your bed.

It has left you for a better lover
It has joined
The past.

Trying to understand
is harder than understanding.
Trying to love
is harder than loving.
The effort vanishes
And what is left
Is emptiness.
I gave up seeking
And through change
Found it all

The pen
It writes down ideas
You wouldn't have been able to come up with
It has its own life
Its own thoughts
It flourishes only between your fingers.
Unknown soldier Feb 2013
I fell in love with you
I surrendered to your being
Every moment ever lived reminds me of you.
Of your eyes, of that smile.
It makes me weak, powerless.

I would like to forget,
but I have pawned off my soul for you,
for nothing but a void illusion.
And it is forever lost,
as long as my memory holds you.
