Amour
Katrina DeLeon Apr 2017
Oh how my love
You once gained the courage
The urge.
Oh how your shadow lives on through me.
And I will too
Gain the courage
To rise above this tormented way
of mourning
But even so
I left the light on
For you to find your way home.

An awakening
Katrina DeLeon Apr 2017
I hide through a screen
I look behind a disposition
All to see a dim and fractured
unreality
Is severed,
The way in which i correspond.
I am, tangled in the ability
To distinctly remove or harness.
How do i relieve
How do i take back the world that i know, that you know.
Or could this be
Some sort of truth
An awakening
An actual alter.

Beside
Katrina DeLeon Apr 2017
Eager I, shall soon place myself
beside you this night...
Knowing your warmth
will summon the light of better days.

Drive
Katrina DeLeon Apr 2017
I watch, I wonder.
I drive the nail on in again.
With every scream she plunders,
An unseen drop falls from miles ahead.
I drive and drive.
I let the wind talk for me instead.
She takes and grows from it.
I watch, I wonder.
I laugh and drive the nail again.
